This cafe is blessed with a stunning panoramic view of Marburg city. You can get good coffee, smoothies, cakes, burgers, steaks, drinks and more. The waitresses wanted to keep us far away from the window side, even though there were two seaters available in the middle. Apparently, only a lower level of melanin content in your skin can ensure you the privilege to enjoy a window seat, a pleasant face while serving or an uninterrupted dinning - A reality which you have to swallow up along with that coffee you ordered. They won't provide you with wifi, so make note of this. The best time to visit is until noon, as it might get crowded and noisy in the evening. The food is good, the ambience is nice, a pleasant service is welcomed.

Wow! And again wow! First of all this was one of the very few places that was open early in Corpus Christi day in Marburg. After a lovely hike up to the local castle and around for an hour we stopped in for coffee and breakfast. Frische Brötchen are always a win. My wife and I both ordered the "Good morning" breakfast board. It was more than enough and we had one leftover Brötchen zum Mitnehmen. The views of the Lahntal are wonderful and the sun shines right in through the windows as the sun rises in the East. The coffee was fantastic. I would enthusiastically recommend this wonderful little cafe if you are ever in the Oberstadt.

I bought a cocktail. It cost 9€. As a result, 70% of the cocktail was ice. I wonder why such a cosmic price? For frozen water? The cocktail itself didn't taste bad. But it definitely wasn't worth the €9... My friends in the company also ordered cocktails, which also did not meet expectations. I was ready to pay 9€ for a cocktail, but I did not expect such a large amount of ice... I was also impressed with the preparation time. They made the cocktail in 20 MINUTES! I don't recommend this.

The menu is not too diverse, but the food tastes awesome and the price are rather affordable. The staff is very welcome and the service is awesome in general. The interior is quite cozy and well-maintained, and the windows are overlooking the lower part of the city, which is a great advantage for the tables next to the windows. The only issue I have is that the staff did not know about our online booking. While it was not an issue for us since there was plenty of room, it could cause a lot of frustration on a busier day. Therefore I would suggest that you book a table via phone just to be on...
