You find the Brasserie Marburg in the oldtown / Oberstadt of Marburg. The place looks very nite. Since the size of the Brasserie stretches really out (outside) we were surprised how quickly and friendly we got served. On the menue they do offer cheesecake. Since the photos show it with strawberry topping we did all expect this, but it was not only just a tiny piece of cheesecake it was also without the strawberries. Photo showed actually a cheesecake (tart) and we got a tiny cutted flat cheesecake with some whipped cream beside. I think they just put it not to make look the piece of cheesecake not so small. Taste was ok, but not what we did expect. Another thing I did order cider from the Odenwald region and got a glass of Possmann cider from Frankfurt instead. Service staff just should...

I expected for an average restaurant but I guess it is rather for tourists who go there only once... We ordered Schnitzel. Honestly, we thought it is a normal and easy order but we had to wait for 45 minutes to get them. And the restaurant was not even half full. The food arrived on broke plate. C'mon how much to replace a plate? We ordered the water without ice. We got it with. The glass of the wein was dirty. The portion of the food was smaller than expected but enough. We also had to wait for the bill for 10 minutes. Although it was positive that they stopped to payment of a tourist group of 12 who paid individually and came over to us to let us pay. I don't recommend...

We arrived at 20.30 to have dinner for 2 adults and 1 girl. 3 alcohol-free cocktails, 2 wraps and 1 pasta dish. We ordered the pasta with the sauce apart. At 9.30pm our daughter had not eaten yet because 2 times they were wrong and they mixed the pasta and the sauce. It seems wrong to leave a girl as a last service and to take more than an hour to serve her. We will not return and if you come with children or little time, avoid it. To emphasize that, in spite of everything, the waitress...
