I had the pleasure of spending the last three days in Munich, and every morning, I found myself drawn to Stray for a delectable cup of coffee. This one-of-a-kind café, located in the heart of the city, is truly a coffee lover's paradise.

Read moreWe used to come regularly when it was still Beaver Coffee. We heard about the change of ownership and wanted to check it out and sadly, we’re quite disappointed because: the ambience of the cafe is so different now, not warm and welcoming but rather harsh and unfriendly (and not in a cool way) coffee tasted milder than we expected I wanted lactose free milk (not oak milk) but the owner said they have been waiting for delivery since weeks. Honestly there is an Edeka just around the corner - they could have just gotten some cartons there first I find it very dishonest that they have taken over the ratings of Beaver Coffee on Google because this is a completely new change since April 2023 and the existing reviews for Beaver do not apply to this new establishment at all - it’s different beans, different baristas, different interior, different feel… You should earn your own reviews, dear Stray owners.
We now feel we need to look for a new good artisan cafe nearby cos we aren’t happy coming here anymore. Maybe we’ll give it one more chance.....

I felt incredibly welcomed, and also walked away with a bag of single Origin Geisha, which took me forever to get through because it was so special that I had to take great care in when I used it! I loved my experience at the Stray, and have recommended it to all my Berlin friends visiting Munich.. It was incredible, and I...
