This restaurant caters more to western audience instead of Korean. The food is not “bad” per se, they taste alright but definitely not authentic. For instance their Bulgogi lacked the traditional flavor profile (only sweet) and it did not taste like it’s freshly stir fried/grilled (not 불-fragrant/smoky).

Pricewise, I think everything was overpriced (well above €20) and the high prices were not really reflected on their quantity & quality. It’s also such a pity that it is a Korean restaurant but charges you €2 for rice and €5 to have each 반찬.

The place is too cramped with barely any space between tables, so the ambience was not good. You can literally hear all the conversations from neighboring tables. It also seems like they have way more tables than they can accommodate, as the service was pretty slow because the waiters were overwhelmed.

All in all, for typical europeans this restaurant might be okay and the fusion dishes can be an easy introduction to the cuisine without overwhelming their western palate with the usual flavorful asian taste. However if you’re Korean (or asian in general) looking for the taste of home, there are plenty of other Korean restaurants in Munich ranging from Imbiss to upscale ones...

My wife and I were visiting for a week, and happened by this cool restaurant. The food was excellent, but that is not the best part of this restaurant - I’ll get to that later. The first time we had fried chicken and cheese dakgabi - it was delicious! We saw other tables eating hot pots, and we knew we had to come back. Glad we did! A few nights later a hot pot - even better! Wine was also great. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity - we tried to finish because it was so good (but failed). Now the best part… the entire restaurant worked as a team. We could tell that they were having fun and they were all so nice and professional. Pauline was our server the first night and Henry the second. All in the restaurant were active and engaged - we loved them all! They gave us suggestions on other restaurants, day trips, etc. Delightful crew - they should be very proud! Thank you, you were the highlight of a...

We decided to have dinner in this restaurant after having read a positive article in a magazine about it but were disappointed. The food selection is limited, we had two meals which had melted cheese on them (was mentioned on the menu but we missed it) which didn’t give anything to the dish and felt disturbing, the quantity of meat in one of the dishes we had compared to the number of noodles felt outbalanced, the cheesecake was more of a sweet maple syrup sponge cake and had a tasteless “vanilla” ice cream with it which we did not finish. Food and drinks felt both overpriced: we paid 160€ for 4 without alcoholic beverages. The ambience aims to be chic, but it is just dark and the LED plastic lamps on the tables don't make the ambience much cosier. There are better places in town to eat for 40€ per person. Thankfully the service was good...

I would like to start by saying I'm not a Korean food expert/connoisseur, so my review is based on my taste and opinion. I enjoyed everything I ordered at this restaurant. The food was tasty but it is not cheap. I've been previously to other Korean restaurants and this was definitely the most "high end" with the best atmosphere and presentation. I think this is reflected in the price as well, but overall I would say the quality/price ratio is still positive. Service was friendly. The restaurant can get crowded easily, so make sure to book before you go. If you are alone, they do mostly do not accept reservations on the weekend but you can try. There are time slots, which is unfortunate but understandable. It just makes the experience a bit less enjoyable if you have to worry about time. My time slot actually ended right with I was finished.

I'm happy to find this place in Munich! The food was good although I think it was for sure adapted to German customers taste (e.g. less spicy, Korean beef tartar without an egg yolk) But that adaptation doesn't twist the original taste so much either. One thing about service that could have been better is the serving order - appetizers and main dishes were served at once. We wish we had appetizers separately first. Overall, I think this is a very nice place for someone who's new about Korean food. I will definitely visit here again with friends from different countries. 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다 번창하세요!

I’m from the States and a huge fan of Korean food (largely in Manhattan and Los Angeles). Atmosphere is hip - can see this being a nice date spot purely for its ambiance. Taste-wise, this place wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, but it also wasn’t anything I’d tell my friends about. It definitely wins for being the most expensive Korean eatery I’ve ever been to though. Over €50 for some tofu and vegetables in a hot pot (Jeongol), which trumps even some of the nicer Korean places I’ve eaten at in Manhattan. Wild.
