I made a reservation for a company dinner at this restaurant, as I went there very often and know that the food is great and authentic. I asked via email whether a reservation for around twenty people would be possible and whether they could create a menu for us. I was then sent a special menu and they even included vegetarian options upon our request. To be sure, I then asked the person I was emailing to several times to confirm the date, time and number of people so that everything would be prepared. I was shocked to see that when we arrived, absolutely nothing was prepared and nobody knew about our company reservation. No tables were moved at all for our team to sit together, we were suggested to split up in the restaurant. When we wanted to order, we told them that we had ordered a special menu beforehand, but the staff had never heard about the menu or our reservation before. He was very unfriendly and told us to order from the regular menu as there was no "special menu" available. We then had to show him the email and the pdf file with our menu on it as "proof". Only after that he agreed to prepare the menu that we were sent by them. I was embarrassed, upset and disappointed about the fact that absolutely nothing had been prepared in advance, they apparently do not inform any of their staff about reservations and send out menus that nobody in the restaurant knows about or has ever seen. As this restaurant is definitely not cheap, we ended up paying quite a big sum in the end which was simply not justified due to the poor service and overall very negative experience. Our reservation was clearly not taken seriously at all I will not make any reservation here anymore...
Read moreIt's a very cool place decorated beautifully, and it really gives you a trendy Vietnamese vibe.
The Pho had a lot of meat, which is the only reason I can justify the cost of the large Pho, maybe one of the most petite large bowls I’ve seen worldwide. The fried rolls were delicious, and that’s the only thing saving this place. The bed of rice noodles it was placed on didn’t feel fresh, and they were stuck together as if they had been made in advance. The Pho itself lacks flavours, which is mind-blowing as the whole thing is supposed to be exceptional for your taste buds. Of the 200 different Pho I’ve tasted, this one was the one that had the least flavours. The recommended drink wasn’t bad, but it was overly sweet and didn’t taste special. It looked nice, but that’s it.
Finally, the service left my head scratching about how this place is run. The restaurant had maybe three clients, and no one came to me to see if I wanted something else or how the food was, and employees were sitting at another table talking to each other, not caring about clients. I even had to get up to pay for my meal…
My final thoughts are that I hope that I got them at a bad time because it was a huge...
Read more2023, April: I’m so sorry I have to drop 3 ⭐️ from my previously 5 stars review but, guys, even if it’s ok to wait for 1 1/2h to be served (kind of isn’t, one of us had to leave before eating and the least you can do in such cases is offer the drinks/ some drinks, imho to compensate for the inconvenience) having ingredients that are not mentioned in the dish’s description (eg mushrooms - people have ALLERGIES) is a big NO. The quality of the food has declined, too. And I’ve been there a few times, giving the place a second and third and fourth chance because I used to love it… I am so sorry.
2022: I’m not a Vietnamese cuisine connoisseur but I really enjoyed the food in Ha. The only omission, from my point of view, is that there are no tofu free vegetarian options as in don’t replace meat/seafood with tofu, just create a vegetarian dish. Beautiful decoration and cool ambience (lighting is amazing) and very pleasant people in service. Overall a...
