Bowls & Blenders — Restaurant in Munich

Bowls & Blenders is a great place on Rosenheimer Str., opposite the Gasteig. I had been eyeing this place for a while and dropped in for lunch on a weekday. They have an assortment of bowls (vegan, vegetarian and with meat) and juices/ smoothies. We called for a Kalifa Bowl and a Cosmopolitan Bowl, along with freshly squeezed orange juice. Both the bowls were fantastic, with fresh ingredients and great taste. The portion sizes were small and the meal costed us ~28€ which made me think about the price- performance ratio. The service was friendly and quick. Overall enjoyed the place, but still isn't my favourite bowls...

I know this can be a magnet for hipsters but I really like their creativity with the ingredients used and the flavours of their savory bowls. I got the Maya Bowl upon one of their super friendly waitress's recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. I really liked the salsa latina in my bowl and the kick with the coriander. But it is a bowl with assembled items so people can complain about the price...You can sit outside on their bench or inside. The inside has a nice decoration. Their toilet is clean, something that people should also talk about when they go to a restaurant. And I am not...

There is no need to make a reservation, and this is very rare in Munich! We had breakfast, and we all had an açaí bowl, which was really yummy, and I would totally recommend it, but keep in mind that they took a lot of time to prepare them, even though we were the only customers.
