Pizzesco — Restaurant in Munich

I had the worst restaurant experience ever in this place. Today I was sitting at a table Waiting for my friend, and the waiter came and grabbed the chair where my friend was going to sit from my table. There was a third chair, so I moved the third chair to the place of the second chair where my friend was going to sit. The waiter came and pushed the chair towards the wall, where there’s clearly not enough space to sit for my friend. I asked the waiter to move the chair back so that my friend can’t have enough space for sitting. He immediately started arguing that there isn’t enough space for the waiter to pass if the chair wasn’t that location. However, the place that he suggested where my friend sit was impossible to fit a human being. Therefore, I asked him to keep the chair as is. I offered him another solution to move another table away so that he can pass easier. Then he started arguing then how other people will sit in the other table if it’s moved that way. While I was trying to offer solutions to his problem of passing or not, he kept telling me why this will not work in a very angry way. All of a sudden he looks at me he says enough is enough and makes a suggestion with his hand and then moves away. I am shocked. I feel disrespected and mishandled in this place. I immediately went to the owner of this place and complaints to the boss. He said he will talk to the guy. But nobody came and apologized me. And they did not do a single thing. This disrespectful waiter will keep working there miss handling customers. I am deeply disappointed. I will never recommend this...

we ate there Saturday evening, about 6pm, warm sunny day, the place was busy with people eating in and taking out. We hadn't booked. We got a table, which we could have until 7.15pm - which was fine with us. The service was a bit chaotic - we ordered the first thing on the menu, a pizza about 40 inches by ten, with four different toppings ( so effectively 4 ten inch square pizza's ). The food was nice but nothing exceptional. It would seem you can help yourself to drinks from the fridge, but no one explained this to us, so we had to ask for more drinks. The bill was wrong - missed an item off - a salad, which was also good, but for the price, actually nothing special. I'd eat there again, no problem, we chose it because of the good reviews here, but wouldn't go fo a romantic meal - it's not that sort of place. And there is only one toilet for everyone, so there were people constantly trying the door which was locked and then having to stand and wait - not...

I like the pinza and pizza at this place. But probably will not be going again.

On two separate occasions, I noticed significant overcharges on my card. The most recent incident, just yesterday evening, involved ordering just two slices to-go, for which I was charged an exorbitant amount. It's frustrating to have to closely scrutinize your bill, but unfortunately, that's the reality at this establishment. It feels like they are taking advantage of customers who might not be paying close attention.

While I can't fault their food, their ethical standards when it comes to billing are not on par with the quality of their meals. I recommend double-checking your invoice and being extra cautious, especially if you're using a card to pay.
