On a Saturday we wanted to get the infamous breakfast set at Cafe Chance but little did we know this place was so popular we needed to reserve a table otherwise we won’t get any table! On a Saturday morning (early as well). But a nice and friendly staff welcomed in and let us have seats at one of reserved tables until the reserved time which gave us ca 50 mins. We ordered the breakfast set but they told us it would not be possible to make it in time so instead we ordered scrambled eggs and French toast which tasted amazing!! We left the place in time before the reserved time and promised each other to come back with a reservation next time. And after a few weeks we had a chance to work from home on the same day so we ordered the breakfast set (65 euro for two people) to be delivered. (You need to email them at least one day before to make the request by the way) the delivery was about 25 mins late since the staff went to a wrong place first or so but he was very apologetic and we didn’t mind too much. As you can see in the photo, this set is the most gorgeous breakfast/brunch set we have ever had and it’s deffo worth the money. The bahn mi sandwich was delicious, so was French toast and croissants! Everything was neatly placed and prepared. It was amazing!! We would definitely order this again, maybe next time we bring the box to the English garden when the weather...
Read moreI came there on Sunday for the Banh my. However, They did not have enough meat for Banh my so we had to choose other options. Other than Banh my, the menu was not so special. We order one avocado toast with Kimchi and one avocado toast with poached egg. For drinks, we ordered one orange juice and one mango soda. Overall, I find this shop a bit costly and the quality of food is not that good. Thin slice of bread with some small slices of avocado, topped with Kimchi which is a bit over-fermented, not for that price! Service and waitresses were very nice and friendly, small...
Read moreThey recently came back from their summer break. I was waiting impatiently until they come back. Why? Because they have legit butter croissant and pain au chocolat. In fact, it's in my top 3 in Munich. I'm french and I am constantly on the look for the juiciest, crispiest, softest croissant. Not even the proper french bakery around the corner can compete. Tried several time to go back to the real french bakery to see if it was a bad day. I guess it was a bad day everytime I went. So my vote goes for Cafe Chance. I'm happy you guys are back
