Cafe Königin 43 — Restaurant in Munich

One of my favourite cafes in Munich, the vibes are even more special on a sunny day! Located just off the Englischer Garten, this spacious cafe offers healthy and satiating breakfast and lunch options to fuel you up for your day. everything is super fresh & well made, including their fantastic German bread which comes with every meal. Their juices are a highlight and I really recommend the mint one (apple, mint, orange) :-). Despite being almost full to the brim they’ve been happy to seat me every time, offering a really stress free experience. The staff are so kind and helpful, again despite being so busy, and didn’t judge me when I asked for an egg on the side of my food :-). I’d recommend the pumpkin&feta salad, and the goats cheese & basil fried couscous. All their breakfast platters are chefs kiss 😘. Don't you hate when someone reviews a cafe or restaurant with little knowledge of the place? Or, when a "good" place isn't good at all? Well Cafe Konigin 43 is fantastic! Freaking fantastic. Delicious, creative, gourmet, wholesome, abundant plates of healthy yumminess! On my recent trip to Munich with my daughter, I couldn't help but eat here 4 times! The atmosphere, the food and perfect coffee/espresso drinks were only surpassed by the staff and owners attentiveness and kindness. Top Location between the Englischer Garten and the University; here you'll find friendly people (young and polite) and a fast but professional service in a cozy familiar atmosphere. Espresso (Von Freyberg - Munich Coffe) is one of the best in Munich; breakfast with (bio!) scrambled eggs was extremely good and attention to detail was amazing: from the top quality fresh baked bread to the homemade strawberry jam, from the half avocado with delicious cream on top to the fresh pressed orange juice, everything was spot on.
