AMAZING EXPERIENCE & SMASH BURGERS!!! Definitely the place in Munich for you to get smash burgers. I did not try any of their chicken burgers yet but I also heard that they were good. I came at around 18.30 on a typical Tuesday and there was no queue so we went inside and the staff showed us to our table. They basically have two restaurants inside the place, one sells Ramen and a few other Japanese food items while the other one is Fairfax Express. The moment you come in, you will be able to immediately smell the amazing aroma of the patties being grilled so be prepared to feel even more hungry before eating it! I ordered the Classic Smash Burger with fried and a Bacon Smash Burger also with fries. The only difference between both of them were the bacon but both of them were good, and the fries were also amazing! The patties were tasty, juicy, and well cooked, the buns were soft and the grilled onions add to flavor nicely. It was probably one of the best smash burgers I have ever tasted so far. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend it to you people who are looking for a place to eat smash burgers in Munich.
A side note is that, when I was done eating and came out of the restaurant at around 19.30, there was a very long queue in front of the door so it may be wise to come a bit earlier for dinner so you won’t beed to queue too...
Read moreThis was my third time visiting, and I wanted to share my latest experience along with my overall comments.
I ordered the 3-piece chicken "tender" combo with fries, ketchup, and a dip of my choice.
Chicken Tender: They only serve chicken breast, which was as dry as sand. Chicken breast itself isn't very tasty to begin with, and it was borderline inedible due to its dryness. The breading was relatively tasty, but it just falls off the chicken. You can choose different heat levels, from mild to very hot. This time, I got "hot," and they simply brush nearly dry pepper on the chicken after frying, which only made the dryness worse. My overall rating for the chicken tenders is a 2, so I don't recommend them at all.
Fries: To be honest, I don't care much about fries, but these were solid—crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their ranch sauce was tangy and tasty, but nothing special.
Note from my previous visits: If you do go there to eat fried chicken, their Nashville chicken sandwich is way better due to its sauce and coleslaw, which helps with chicken's dryness.
Overall, it's still one of the better chicken places in Munich, which honestly says a lot about the Munich food scene...

The Bacon Smash is one burger that gets it right. The meat is juicy, the bun is soft yet sturdy, and the cheese brings everything together nicely. What really stood out, though, was the bacon—a generous portion with real flavor, not the flimsy strips you find at other places. It truly elevated the burger, making every bite feel hearty and well-balanced.
The fries were fresh and crispy, though a little on the salty side. One suggestion? More sauce options. A good cheese dip for the burger or truffle mayo for the fries would take things up a notch.
The atmosphere was nice at first, especially if you’re seated by the welcoming hostess. But timing is key. The line can get long, so try arriving right when they open or around 6:45 pm as the early crowd leaves. Be prepared, though—if you stay longer than 30 minutes, the hostess might hover around, signaling it’s time to move on, which did take away from the overall comfort.
Despite that, this spot works well for a quick meal or drinks at the bar. It’s got a lively feel and is a good place to catch up with friends over a solid burger. Just keep an eye...
