Kalypso restaurant — Restaurant in Munich

I think Kalypso is one of the best restaurants in Munich for a variety of reasons. They've made a bit more effort with their interiors compared to most restaurants in town. The interiors feel very white-washed and warm, so typical chic Greek. Service was excellent, an absolute 10/10. They served us several rounds of ouzo complimentary, which I think they give out for most tables, such a nice gesture. We also got a complimentary dessert, yogurt with walnuts and honey, which was another bonus on top of it all.

The food is amazing as well: Salt-baked sea bass: the highlight of our meal, it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this! Enjoyed this with plain steamed spinach drizzled with olive oil Tsatsiki: very good Haloumi: very good Baked feta cheese: also good Kalypso platter: a good selection of meats, you get a bit of Giros/Souvlaki, Bifteki and lamb Grilled baby calamari: thumbs up

We went on a Friday night for dinner and it was super buzzy. In the beginning there was no music, which I complained about and they fixed it rather quickly. Kalypso gets a 5* review because everything was just right, the food, service, ambiance...

Been there 3 times since 2023 started, I really loved the food and beverages quality, the meat and drink are always on point, everything from the place, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks is 10/10 but the only two problems that i personally have is that the waiter’s are understaffed in my opinion they are always in a hurry, sometimes they forget what you’ve ordered and sometimes it’s just a hustle going back and forth for the order , but that’s just my personal opinion. And the second thing is that the Menu is really good but if you don’t know anything about Greek food, you have bo idea what you are going to order, it just says the name of the food with out Kontext no images or no under description what exactly you are getting but that is just my and maybe some other tourist opinion. The restaurant is a 9/10 definitely recommend for the quality and will go again and again because it’s one of the best Greek restaurants that there...

The Restaurant is very good! Warm and friendly atmosphere, generous, quick and clear service. We have ordered a starter and it consisted already of 5 or 6 plates of delicious sauces with olives, pita, paprika, zucchini whatever. Everything is fresh and top served. Uzo as a starter and especially a dessert at the and of the meal is not just a good tone but also a sign of traditional greek hospitality. Special notice: if the reservation in internet site not available (any more) you can always try to reserve a table per telephone. And if you get a table for 1900 pm, they will allow you to stay till only 2130pm, two hours. Then comes the next reservation. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends...
