L'Americano — Restaurant in Munich

I am sure you can enjoy the time in this bar but 5 of my friends and me unfortunately didn't get the chance.

We were waiting to be seated and the member of staff (tall gentleman with dark hair) who was clearly stressed out (which is understandable if the place is full and there's not enough staff) was running around and pushing us, complaining that we are standing in the way without even showing where to wait, just being rude and using high tones.

I am a strong believer that you have to work in gastronomy if you have a natural born talent to host people, be attentive and have a certain charisma. But if those are not your strong sides and your psychological state is so quickly disbalanced that you start offending guests (one of our group was visibly pregnant) that are not yet even seated, you probably shouldn't work with people in general.

Service is a tough job, you sometimes have to host unfriendly or drunk guests, but there's no understanding from my side how can you treat people who didn't do anything wrong in such a rude way.

Although on a serious note - unsure why there are negative reviews on the staff they were ALL very cordial and polite. The place was packed full, a place with bad service would never be as packed..

But overall we had a few juices and basic cappuccino hot coco. All was decent. The location is obviously great. Had a good time hanging iut with friends on a rainy winter day

Für diese Frechheit hätte ich eigentlich gerne Null Sterne verteilt. Manche Bedienungen sind einfach kein Trinkgeld wert. Unsere Bedienung (längere Haare) war unfreundlich, arrogant und herablassend… wir konnten gerade mal eine Runde bestellen und haben ihn danach nicht mehr gesehen. Die Getränke wurden auch eher auf den Tisch geschmissen, als gestellt. Die Hälfte der Getränke ist übergeschwappt. Bei 9-10 € pro Glas dürfte man schon erwarten, dass die Gläser nochmal aufgefüllt werden. Ist allerdings nicht passiert… Wir saßen dann fast 15 Minuten vor den leeren Gläsern, bis er dann urplötzlich mit der Rechnung kam. Wir meinten, dass wir eigentlich noch was bestellen wollten. Daraufhin meinte er „wir machen jetzt aber zu“ und „ihr trinkt einfach langsam, Pech gehabt.“ Dann hat er uns die Rechnung hingelegt und ist zum nächsten Tisch.

Ich war selber einige Jahre stellv. Restaurantleiter und weiß, dass man irgendwann auch mal Heim will. Solche Aussagen gehen allerdings gar nicht! Man muss den Gästen schon mitteilen, dass es die letzte Runde ist… Und so redet man einfach nicht mit Gästen…

Da es genügend Bars in der Gegend gibt, muss ich mein Geld nicht Personen geben, die keinerlei Ahnung von GASTronomie haben und mich behandeln wie Dreck… Die Gastro lebt eigentlich davon, dass Gäste sich wohlfühlen und gerne wiederkommen… Ich wollte mal wissen wie der Laden so ist… Nun weiß ich wo ich nicht mehr hingehen werde und welche Bar ich auch nicht weiterempfehle!
