Read moreFrom the start it is a pleasant experience. Dont be scared with a long queue in the beginning, it moves quite fast. And you are not standing there doing nothing. You are served with some tasty and above all free snacks. Some crackers and dumplings and a Jasmine tea. Already a good start in case you wanted to change your mind to go away and to keep your hungry belly on a ready-to-eat mode. And you get to see the waiters smiling and greeting you, as if they really can´t wait to see you inside. You gotta see it yourself to believe it.
Once you manage to get closer to the door, you are asked to choose your dish already. Quite a lean process! Isn´t it? You write down what you wanted to order and hand over to the guy. He takes it, brings you inside and points you towards the table where you could possibly sit.
Now comes the tricky part. Lot of tables are for 4 people, so if you are two, you might have to share the table with two strangers. So less privacy in case that was important for you. You get to see the chef hand pulling noodles in front of you. He seems not exhausted and looks to enjoy what he is doing. Though I think it would take me at least one month of hand pulling noddles to be anyway nearer to how perfectly the guy is doing. Still I wont be able to do it.
Dont be surprised if you are not offered any cuttlery as it is inside the drawer you are sitting in. Be my guest and find the drawer yourself on which side it is :)
You barely get to sit for 5 mins that you are served with your meal. Quite fast, ey! Don´t you agree. So from the time you joined the queue outside to the point you get your meal, it has been ca. 20 mins.
Now you get to enjoy your delicious meal. It´s really good! You wont mind. Try it for yourself the recipe and leave a review and describe how you found the taste. I can say it is...
Read moreYou will definitely be able to tell that the food is delicious here because the aroma you smell as you walk by is simply amazing. We finally got to try it and it was definitely what we expected! Amazing food! We tried the Mala Beef Noodle Soup, fried dumplings, and their fried chicken bites. I would say this is where you get the best beef noodle soup in Munich. The soup was very tasty, noodle is handmade and perfectly cooked, the beef were flavorful and melts as soon as you put it in your mouth and take a bite. Their fried dumplings and fried chicken bites were also definitely well above average! Their price to portion ratio were also great!
We ate here on a typical weekday for lunch and it was packed, we had to wait for around 15 minutes but it wasn’t bad at all as they gave us shrimp crackers and tea while waiting for our turn to go in and eat. An unfortunate thing is that they only accept cash which nowadays I don’t always got cash on me. The way the restaurant works is the same as similar restaurants in China where the place is strictly only for eating and not for hanging out, they would immediately pick up your plates and bowls after you are done eating and get the table ready for the next customer… indirectly telling you to leave. It would be nice if they turned on their air conditioners as it was a hot day and the place was packed. Just be ready to wait for a bit but I promise you it will be worth it. Would...
