Good vibes, good food only What? I stayed at an Airbnb very close to this place and I have had this 3 times during the course of my stay. I got take out twice and ate here once. I did the veggie salad which was really good and the mango roll on the appetizer menu was good as well. The ramen is eh, not the best. Environment I love that they have outdoor seating (I know this is very common in Europe) But I love the space, it is relatively big, so plenty of seating available. Niceness of the staff So this is where my problem lies. The staff that helped during take-out orders are excellent. I went here with my friend and we ate there and the waiter that was serving us was not impressed and wasn't impressive either. First he took long to get to us and isn't eager to take our orders. Then upon paying, I paid cash, and instead of giving me back the change from the bill, he asked how much tip I want to include for him then to give me back my change which was shocking for me. I understand giving tip is not really mandatory and it is up to my discretion, it is rude the way he handled it as he wanted to make sure that I tipped him. Dollar It was decently priced. Yes Only take-out. Not thrilled about eating it there with service like that

The dining experience here is below average. We were traveling here for museum visits. On our way, we decided to stop by and grab lunch. When we first walked in the door, there wasn’t anyone greeting us or taking us to the table. There was only one waiter and many bartenders behind the bar. Only two tables were occupied. The bartenders obviously noticed us but didn’t say anything until I asked them where to sit. From the moment we walked in, there was an elderly white woman who kept staring at us bluntly and gossiping with her friend. I don’t get it - why it’s surprising to see Asians in an Asian restaurant, come on. The ramens we ordered were really salty and not really good. There was no service at all. When the waiter finally came when we asked him for a check. He asked us how it was, and I told him that it’s okay but the ramen was too salty. He seemed unbelievable / offended. My friend was paying with card, and there was no tipping options below 25%. Because the service was almost none to poor, and the food was bad, she didn’t want to tip. The waiter then told us in a really unpleasant tone that “in Germany, you are required to pay tips.” The whole restaurant is a joke 👍

Very tasty food at decent prices. But, service for me was horrendous, even by Germanic-culture standards. It took about 20mins for them to take my order—I was here alone—even with the person next to me pointing out to the staff that I still hadn't been served. Food came quickly after being ordered, though, and was very tasty. No-one checked on me during the meal and no-one came after I'd finished eating. Eventually, I got the attention of staff and asked for the bill. That then took a while to come. All in all, I spent about 30mins eating and nearly 1h waiting. Not so bad if with a group, but pretty boring by myself! Atmosphere was ok, but music was rather loud. This, in turn, forces people to speak loudly. I just put in headphones and listened to a podcast! Would recommend for a group without time constraints, but not for a single person or if there's any time pressure.

This restaurant is not good, here are my recommendations for better alternatives: Monaco Ramen: Amazing place to eat at and best ramen in the city in my opinion. Blows this place out of the water in terms of quality and passion by the owner. Sadly not open super regularly. Takumi: Very nice ramen with way better quality, very reliable. Close by too so you don't need to walk far 😉 Unfortunately can have long lines sometimes. byvu: Amazing Sushi with generous fish portions. I recommend trying the mexican roll especially, it is amazing! Try out the dim sum as well.

It's really sad how far this place has sunken over the years. We liked going here quite frequently since it used to be very dependable and we could almost always get a tabe during the week. We have however noticed a slight decline in quality over the time. Decoration of the food got slightly less, menus were getting torn up more and more without getting replaced, etc. Small stuff overall but since this restaurant is pretty pricey, there are certain expecations that should be met. This most recent experience however was really what broke the camel's back. I have ordered the ramen bowl ~15 times and have always been pretty satisfied. This time however, when my girlfriend and me ordered the ramen bowl, the noodles were way too overcooked. I tried eating a few bites but we quickly decided that this was just not worth it and decided to send it back to the kitchen. I have done this only once or twice in my entire life so this should tell you just how bad this was. When telling the waiter about this, instead of being understanding and offering us a new bowl, he started arguing with us that "ramen noodles are supposed to be soft"... After some back and forth, he decided to take back the dishes and make us new portions. After waiting for another 15 minutes, he came back with two new bowls that had the exact same issue. At this point all I wanted was to get out of the restaurant as quickly as possible so I told the waiter that I would be paying. To my surprise, even though he saw that we hadn't even touched our bowls he did not hesitate for one second to bill us for the whole meal.

In total we paid ~44€ for a bottle of water and waited 30 minutes for nothing. Safe to say that we will not be coming back as there are just better options to dine, as listed above. The competition has more than caught up Sam, i sincerely hope you...

The staff is rude, unfriendly and quite judgy, if I might say so. When we entered I heard whispers of the staff saying “blah blah Indische..” I knew they were talking about us. I still ignored it (as an immigrant I’m used to getting attention in Germany, especially by white people) because I didn’t want to be quick in judging the place.

I ordered an Aperol Spritze and literally I couldn’t taste any alcohol. When I asked to change, the waiter refused, and argued this is what I ordered. Terrible service. I’ve been living in Germany for 5 years now and I’ve been to much better Asian/Sushi places. Nothing unique about this place.

Food is decent, yes. If you mix a lot of teriyaki and soya sauce in basic meat and veggies and try to sell it as authentic Asian. Another waitress, kept coming to my table to clean my dish, even when I was not finished with my meal. Like she just wanted to get done with her job. Not worth coming here honestly. Might as well go to any Asian Bistro that will treat its customers well.

PS: the cherry on top was when the waitress who collected our cheque herself confirmed that the other waiter was quite rude, including to the other staff members, which I found...
