Amazing Ferris Wheel Experience in Wittelsbacherplatz, Munich

Our recent visit to Wittelsbacherplatz in Munich was highlighted by an unforgettable ride on the Riesenrad (Ferris wheel). This attraction provided a perfect vantage point to take in the beauty and history of the area.

The Ferris wheel was well-maintained, and the staff ensured a smooth and safe experience. The ride offered breathtaking panoramic views of Munich, allowing us to see iconic landmarks and the stunning Bavarian landscape from a unique perspective.

As we ascended, we were treated to a mesmerizing view of Wittelsbacherplatz’s historic architecture and statues. The serene atmosphere of the square combined with the excitement of the Ferris wheel ride made for a truly magical experience.

Whether you're a local or a tourist, the Riesenrad in Wittelsbacherplatz is a must-do. It's a fantastic way to appreciate the city’s charm and beauty from above. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking to add a special touch to the...

My experience was completely ruined by the man selling nuts by the entrance. I arrived very excited to the Christmas market and started taking pictures. From the distance the man at the stall shouts “it’s 5€!” I get closer to see what he had in his stall. When I was close enough he repeated “it’s 5€ for taking pictures” I laughed but he then pointed to his menu where he has that written. I smiled and started walking away, thinking this is clearly a joke. But he then proceeded to shout abuse demanding payment. I kept looking over my shoulder expecting to see him again demanding money. All of the other stalls are happy for you to take pictures. But that man ruined the experience for me so I...

⭐ Wittelsbacherplatz, Munich A serene and architecturally refined square in Maxvorstadt! Centered by the bronze equestrian statue of Elector Maximilian I (1839), the square is framed by noble palais like Arco-Zinneberg, Ludwig Ferdinand (now Siemens HQ), and the historic Odeon. Despite its centrality, it remains peaceful—perfect for a relaxed moment. In summer, enjoy a popular Hamburg-style fish market; in winter, a charming medieval Christmas fair unfolds. Easily reached via Odeonsplatz (U-Bahn U3/U4/U5/U6), it’s a timeless urban gem. #Munich #ClassicSquare #Wittelsbacherplatz...
