I recently had the pleasure of staying at the renowned Hotel Bayerischer Hof München, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the elegant lobby, I was whisked away into a world of luxury and impeccable service. Without a doubt, this hotel deserves every single one of its five stars. The room I stayed in was simply exquisite. The attention to detail in the interior design was awe-inspiring, combining classic elegance with modern touches. The high-quality furnishings, comfortable bed, and state-of-the-art amenities made me feel like royalty. The room was also incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring Munich. What truly sets Hotel Bayerischer Hof München apart is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect in every way. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalized assistance throughout my stay, their genuine care and attention made me feel like a valued guest. Every request was met promptly and with a smile, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Additionally, the hotel boasts an array of outstanding facilities. The rooftop pool and spa, offering breathtaking views of the city, provided a relaxing oasis. I indulged in a rejuvenating spa treatment and felt rejuvenated and revitalized. The hotel's diverse dining options ensure that every palate is satisfied, with each restaurant offering a unique culinary experience. The Michelin-starred Atelier restaurant, in particular, served an unforgettable gastronomic journey that delighted all my senses. Hotel Bayerischer Hof München's central location is also a major advantage. Situated in the heart of Munich, it allowed me easy access to the city's main attractions, shopping districts, and cultural sites. Whether it was exploring the historic streets of Old Town or taking a stroll in the picturesque English Garden, everything was within close proximity. In conclusion, Hotel Bayerischer Hof München is an absolute gem in the heart of Munich. The seamless blend of luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and top-notch facilities create an unparalleled experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable stay in Munich. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

They stole my money and Mr Santos is the worst front desk manager I’ve ever dealt with. We booked this hotel from 23-26 of July 2022 through AMEX Centurion services. We came to the hotel and the room they gave us was all orange and dark (they said it’s an African themed room!). We tried to change the room, they didn’t have much rooms and gave us another option that was also bad. We went to the front desk and asked nicely to cancel our reservation and that we decided to leave their hotel to another. I asked to see the manager, he came Mr Santos. He was blunt and rude, in the beginning he said he will take 90% of our stay (three nights) I asked him (why would you take my money and sell the room to someone else?) I simply came to your hotel and didn’t like it, if your a truly 5 star AMEX recognized hotel, you should apologize and not charge us anything because we simply didn’t stay or checkin the hotel. He refused, he was also very blunt and rude to my wife when she suggested to stay one night and leave the next day. After a long stressful discussion he agreed to charge us 90% of the 1st night, they took 504€ from us and we left. It’s amazing how these hotels can just steal your money and then sell the room to someone else.

Good location, wide variety of restaurants, excellent and top level spa therapists. However, apart from that, far from luxury service. The rooms are badly insulated, and the interiors are drab. It was very busy and overcrowded. Breakfasts are 4*-hotel style (for those who doesn't drink champagne in the mornings).

We stayed on the 6th floor (room 641). Despite the plain interiors, the room was quite cosy due to natural materials used. The stone floor and wall was not cleaned well in the shower and was stained. The first time I took a tube of shower gel, it was covered with brown fingerprints (looked like someone's foundation). So the cleaning is 3 out of 5 stars. The room had modern switches on walls. Unfortunately the AC did not work despite a beautiful touch screen monitor to manage it. And looks like nobody really checks it. The most upsetting experience was that we could hear each and every step of our neighbours. It was very loud both during the day and at night. Also, while the windows were closed, we could smell a cigarette smoke. I believe it came from the neighbouring rooms and that means that the insulation of the rooms is really weak. If you are allergic to strong detergents or cannot stand chemical perfumes I would suggest avoiding giving your laundry to the hotel cleaning. I got my laundry back with such a pungent smell, that I haven't been able to get rid of it till now. There is no coffee machine in the suite and you will not find loose tea in the hotel. The hair dryer is connected to wall very low under the sink and the cord is quite short so you have to pull the hairdryer up every time towards your head. Uncomfortable. Probably the designer suggested that guests would dry their hair sitting on the floor! As I mentioned, the spa therapists are really professional and know how to relax your muscles and mind. But the spa itself is located on several levels and you have to use lift to get from spa reception to a massage room or to the pool. The only lift can take up to 10 minutes to arrive, and there are no stairs to use as an alternative. I have to mention that the spa reception is located next to the roof bar so be ready to feel quite weird standing in your bathrobe where dressed people go to the bar. I think there is no chance to relax fully in this spa due to a lot of distractions. In conclusion, I think the hotel is a good place for conferences. But if you want to get an exclusive experience of luxury service, do...

The location of the Bayerischer Hof is excellent—right in the heart of Munich. During my stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and the reception area had been temporarily relocated. Despite this, the check-in process went very smoothly. The front desk agent was calm, friendly, and professional. Although we arrived earlier than the official check-in time and had booked on short notice, he was able to offer us an early check-in, which was much appreciated.||Coincidentally, the same staff member assisted us with check-out. While again polite and helpful, I found it unnecessary to provide my invoicing details a second time, as the ones I had submitted during check-in had apparently not been saved. These are small details, but when they don’t work, they leave the impression of weak internal organization.||We had breakfast only on the first day at the rooftop restaurant, which offers a beautiful view over Munich’s rooftops. However, for the following days, we chose to eat breakfast elsewhere, as the selection didn’t feel particularly special for the price.||Our room faced the inner courtyard, with no real view. More inconvenient was the constant noise from what appeared to be the hotel’s ventilation or extraction systems, which made it uncomfortable to keep the windows open for long. There were also some unexplained noises coming from the bathroom.||On one evening, we ordered room service, which was excellent—high-quality food, beautifully presented, and delivered promptly.||On the third night, I was woken up by the sound of dripping from the air conditioner. I placed a towel on the floor, but the next day, housekeeping didn’t seem to notice, and the issue persisted when the unit was on.|That said, the housekeeping team did a generally very good and detailed job. The room was always clean and well-maintained. However, towels were replaced daily even when hung up, which felt unnecessary, especially considering they were larger and more luxurious than standard hotel towels.||Overall, the hotel is clearly committed to preserving its tradition of elegance and service. With a bit more consistency in operations and attention to small guest-facing details, the experience could feel even more polished...
