I have been looking for a place where we could have a dinner with our business friends. We all very much like steaks, but traditional steakhouse seemed to me a little bit ordinary. When I found Sanji's promoting steaks with Asian touch I have decided to give it a chance.
I have arrived to the restaurant first with my friend and we decided to wait for others outside on the garden and have a drink. Therefore we went in. I have informed waiter about my reservation for 12 people and he asked me in English whether we are the group from Czechia. When I admitted this he asked me in Czech if we can speak our mother language. What a surprise - gentleman born in Czechia served us whole evening at very high level speaking our language. But that was not the only surprise...
We have asked for a selection of starters so everybody could pick what he likes. The food was not only beautifully arranged but also very very delicious! Salmon tartar on shrimp chips with herbs, Wagyu carpaccio, tuna bits... and that absolutely great tasting marinated cucumber... hmmm, yummy!!!
And than the main show started. Dozens of different steaks including Wagyu and Tomahawk, all super tender but with crispy surface created at the table during waiter's fire show. Side dishes didn't stay behind delivering asian touch to the meet. Heaven in the mouth!
Despite having a full stomachs we could not miss deserts. Padang creme brûlée tasted great but could be more firm. But this is just a tiny lack of beauty.
All and all, I have no other option than to highly recommend this wonderful place run by enthusiastic people. Five stars! And hope to return there...

Having tried most of the steak restaurants in and around the city, I often find myself questioning the steep prices of meat here—especially when paired with service that can feel indifferent or even arrogant. But not here!
From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly greeted at the door, our jackets were taken, and we instantly felt at ease. That level of hospitality carried through the entire evening. The staff provided thoughtful recommendations, were attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely ensured we had everything we needed. The service wasn’t just professional—it was heartfelt and passionate, something that’s all too rare in Munich.
And then came the food… absolutely outstanding! The steak was cooked to perfection, the wine pairing (recommended by our waiter) was both excellent and reasonably priced, and the kimchi was the best I’ve had in Munich—even without the dried shrimp, which was unavailable that week due to sourcing issues. I can only imagine how much better it could be! The sides were spot-on, complementing the meal beautifully.
I’m usually skeptical about the rum-searing show that many restaurants perform, but here, it was done with such genuine passion that it felt like an authentic part of the experience rather than just a gimmick.
Without a doubt, this spot has earned a place on my list of must-visit steak restaurants in Munich. Highly recommended!

We did our research and it brought us here and it didn’t disappoint AT ALL. We had a little of everything but the main attraction for us was the ribeyes and the tomahawk!! EVERYTHING we had to eat and i mean everything was delicious. From the starters, the sides, the drinks, the entrees, the dipping sauces, desserts. It was so great we came back on our last night because i had to have the tomahawk steak before i left. I had the ribeye the first time and there were was both toooo good. Obviously the tomahawk was more food but i still crushed it all and left no crumbs!! But the staff was what put this place over the top. They gave us great recommendations to where to go to party afterwards and they let us finish our food even after the restraints closed. They didn’t rush to kick us out, had shots with us and they were talking to us making us feel even more at home. They even put in our playlist while we ate on the last night. I can’t thank Emil, Duc, and Kevin enough for the hospitality we got on BOTH nights. They are apart of the reason we came back besides the food!
