Bahama Mama Latin Kitchen | Bar — Restaurant in Nuremberg

First of all, inside there was no place while the tables stayed empty or where reserved for way later on the evening. So we took a table outside, which was not prefferd but fine as well. We had to wait over half an hour before we could order drinks/dinner, the place was heavely understaffed. The food was nice, sadly it caused food poisoning for me.

Edit/reaction to owner: First of all, i understand the capacity inside is lower due to covid. what I don't understand, and also couldn't find if it had to do with covid, was that if a table is reserved for 10:30 PM and you come much earlier for dinner you can't eat at that table. I am not mad about this just surprised it was handeld this way since in a lot of other place it would have been handeld differently.

We really enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is nice with the lighting. The only minus is the loud music, which makes it hard to have a conversation sometimes.

Service: Always friendly and fast. Only once we had to wait a little longer, but that was due to the fact that they were understaffed and they still did a great job and came to our table several times asking if we need anything. So far, one of the best services I have experienced.

Food and drinks: Tasty food that goes well with the abundance of cocktails they have. Our favourite is the canchanchara!...

I am crying - this was the place where I went out every Friday for Latin way of life: music, cocktails, food dancing. Now the new owner canceled dancing. Hey - People went there for the way of life - not the burgers!!! The new owner doesn't understand that dancing is part of life in Latin America. Without dancing, Bahama now has degraded to a Wannabe place that is just marketed as latin. Sorry that I had to remove three stars, I once rated this place with five stars.
