I travelled 2.5 hours just to try this restaurant because a few friends had praised it, but honestly, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences ever. Even though I was ready with my order at 7:10 PM, the person at the counter made me wait till 7:45 PM to even place it. I clearly mentioned that I had a train at 9:00 PM, and he promised the food would be ready in half an hour yet it only arrived at 8:35 PM. I barely had ten minutes to eat before rushing, and when I asked him to pack my dessert, he had the audacity to argue and tell me I could just drop it if I was late. What made it worse was seeing others who came after me get served and leave long before me, while I was left waiting helplessly. Because of this careless and arrogant attitude, I ended up missing my train, waiting at the station till 10:40 PM, and reaching home around 1:00 AM. The food might be decent, but no taste is worth such unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate service. That person behind the counter completely ruined what could have been a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values their time or...

I recently ordered from Dalchini through UberEats, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The food was poorly packaged, leading to a messy presentation.
I ordered Paneer Butter Masala, but the paneer was rubbery—almost plastic-like in texture—and the gravy was so watery that it was completely lacking in flavor or richness.
To make matters worse, the Rasmalai I ordered contained human hair, which is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns.
It’s hard to understand why any restaurant would deliberately serve food of such poor quality and with such disregard for cleanliness. For some of us, ordering food isn’t just for leisure—it’s out of necessity. Receiving such poorly made and unhygienic food, which ends up being thrown straight into the garbage, is both frustrating and wasteful.
I truly hope the restaurant takes feedback seriously and makes drastic improvements to quality, packaging,...

I'm so so glad we chose this restaurant to go to, despite it being their very first day! The atmosphere is very welcoming, everyone is friendly and makes you feel right at home. Speaking of home, the food feels like it's your maharashtrian friend's house. My husband was there in Pune for a while and he could vouch for the fact that the food felt very authentic.
Coming to the food, we had misal pav, veg chat pata roll, aloo paratha, Pani puri and Gobi Manchurian, all of which were amazing! Truly made for our Indian taste buds, just the right amount of spice and flavor! But the best part however was the Sol khadi, it was my first time having this and God, it was sooo blissful that I couldn't help but order one more.
My Indian soul was truly satisfied today.
All the very best, team Dalchini, will definitely visit again ♥️ I think the next time we might need a reservation coz you probably won't have many places to fit in the people you're...
