Nice park of about 19 hectares, highly recommended for walks with either your family or your pet (or both).

If you come to Nuremberg to spend a few days, I recommend you come, the visit is worth it. I recommend you visit the fountain of Neptune. The park also has fenced playgrounds.

Previously the area was known as "Judenbuhl" due to the burning of Jews in 1349, in 1854 King Maximilian was asked to change the name to Maxfeld until 1882, during World War II, the park was devastated, rebuilt in 1958.

Das Novo Hotel Rossi befindet sich der n einer weniger hübschen Umgebung, etwa 6 Minuten Fußmarsch über enge Bürgersteige vom Bahnhof Porta Nuova entfernt. Das Hauptgebäude ist tatsächlich relativ neu, gepflegt und barrierefrei erreichbar. Das Hotelpublikum ist bunt gemischt, ausländische Touristen wie einheimische Geschäftsleute. Tiere und Kinder sind willkommen. Selbst die günstigsten Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und mit einem eigenem, großzügigen Badezimmer ausgestattet. Das ist Internet ist sehr gut per WiFi nutzbar und schnell. Die Fernseher sind nicht besonders groß, aber dafür gibt es nicht nur italienische Kanäle, darunter mehrere deutsche. Die Zimmer haben hohe Decken, was bei warmen Temperaturen von Vorteil ist. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt, Betten neu gemacht und benutzten Handtücher ungefragt gewechselt. Trotz Klimaanlage lassen sich auch die Fenster öffnen und mit etwas Glück blickt man jeden Morgen in den hauseigenen Garten. Dieses Glück hatte ich auch.

Das Personal ist nett und sehr freundlich sowie bei allen Problemen gerne behilflich. Es wird einem die Benutzung von Bussen empfohlen und erklärt. Man kann als Gast vor Ort ein Fahrrad ausleihen, was angesichts der reichlich vorhandenen und gut markierten Radwegen durchaus sinnvoll bist.
