A Disappointing Experience at Café Alice.

I recently visited the cafe with high hopes, drawn in by its charming exterior and chic ambiance. However, my experience quickly turned sour.

Service Woes: The waiter, who seemed to float through the room with an air of superiority, left much to be desired. His exaggerated movements and nonchalant attitude were off-putting. When our salads arrived, he couldn’t even confirm whether they were meant for our table. It felt like he was doing us a favor by serving us.

Schnitzel Mishap: The main course, schnitzel and fries, arrived with a clumsy flourish. The waiter lowered the plate, and half of my fries tumbled onto the table. Shockingly, he didn’t bother to replace them. I was left wondering if I was supposed to eat the scattered fries off the table.

Uneasy Atmosphere: The constant presence of the owner/s added to the discomfort. They roamed around the cafe, eyes darting from table to table, as if monitoring their staff. It made me wonder if the employees were under surveillance.

In summary, the chic facade belied a disappointing experience. I won’t be returning, and I recommend others think twice before stepping into this cafe. Perhaps the negative reviews weren’t so...

Best meal yet! This is our last dinner before heading back to the states and I'm beyond delighted that we chose to spend it here. Our food was exceptionally delicious. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We love to sit back and enjoy a meal. However, our time was unfortunately limited by our need to get our bus driver back to the hotel after a long day. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our dinner arrived after we ordered.

As if that wasn't enough, the gentlemen waiting on us were so gracious and helpful. They really made our last night special. I can't thank them enough for that. Of course, we had to order some desserts to enjoy later at the hotel. They looked so tempting behind the glass of the dessert counter. 😄 Considering all we ordered, I was surprised one last time by the bill. We spend more on pizza delivery back home and this meal was infinitely better.

I cannot thank this business enough for being such a wonderful place to relax for dinner. I highly recommend everyone give them a try. I would definitely come back again...

Very bad experience! We asked if they had a table for two, in English of course but the waitress couldn't say a world in this language and she even made us feel bad we couldn't speak German. Hello? We are visiting your country only for 3 days, why shall we? We ordered schnitzel and a burger. The schnitzel tasted a bit off and the burger was a mixture of minced meet with bread crumbs and lots of herbs... what? Now we understand why they didn't ask how we wanted it. It was dry and hard to eat. When we asked for the bill, they didn't even ask if everything was ok as we left some of our meal on the plate. It seems like they don't bring the bill to the table, so we went to the cashier to pay. Surprisingly we realised that our bottle of still water was almost 7€. I don't recommend this place at all. Bad food, bad service, worst...
