We had a wonderful birthday evening at Hüftgold. Awesome location and atmosphere: the restaurant in the central area of Schwetzingen, which is quite nice, and the atmosphere is really cool and romantic. Top staff! The guys are super friendly, attentive and willing to give advice on dishes and drinks. High quality menu: tasty food and quite diverse healthy options. High quality olive oil is on all tables. We were a little bit disappointed( The atmosphere in this place is pleasant, but due to close arrangement of tables it's quite noisy there. The service is excellent. Very attentive and caring waiters. What was disappointing about the food: the meat itself was well cooked and easily separated from the bone, but there was so much sauce that the taste of the meat was not felt at all; the seafood pasta was undercooked and tough, the sauce in it was absolutely tasteless and flavorless, but the salmon was good. I Will do this in English so everybody understands, how good this place actually is. I wanna start of by saying that my girlfriend and I travelled around Italy and Switzerland the last 7 days, and had everything from pasta, steak, pizza, good food all around. But today we got blown away by this place. Everything from the staff/service, the atmosphere and of course the most important, the food was absolutely 10/10 experience. And no, we did not get paid of get any kind of discount making this long a review. They just deserve it, as simple as that. Just wow, really....
