WOOOOOOOOW!!!! I love African food - especially Ethiopian and this restaurant hit *ALL* the buttons. I've tried this cuisine in Kenya, Tanzania, England, the US, Spain, Singapore & Germany and this is one is the best! We ordered the pumpkin curry soup (seasonal) and the Hetznot to share. We didn't get a picture of the soup because we ate it too fast it was that good! 🙈😂 All of the flavors were perfect, from the injera to the okra, collard greens, curried cauliflower, the meats - chicken on the bone (the only way to cook it), lamb... ohhhh the lamb. I live 5 hours away and I will be dreaming about coming back and drooling every time I remember our experience here. Thank you for the authentic food, great service & friendly smiles. We will find a way to make it back! 😍😋😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤🤤

Ebony gave me my first ever taste of African/Eriterian food thanks to my colleague’s recommendation. First of all, I really loved the ambience which was little bit hipster and little bit cozy with a lot of artistic touches. Now coming to the food, I was really taken away by the homely taste of the food. The starter was great and the main dish was even better (also too much quantity). They even had samosa (we have the same in India too). Also, Injera, the main part of the dish is very similar to the indian food dosa. It’s like we share a bond with Africa through food. We are all the same.

We could find a table without reservation but the more time passes, the more likely it gets crowded. So reservation is recommended! The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful. I am new to African cuisine and kept thinking why I didn’t experience it before. I definitely loved it!!! My husband and I were very impressed with the food. It tasted great with good portions. We found the taste of the bread (injera) a bid sour which made us loving it even more!!! We started recommending this restaurant for our friends and will definitely come here again!

I am from D.C where there are many Ethiopian Restaurants. I stopped by this place for dinner with a friend and found out it was pretty full. Which I completely understand, it's in the middle of downtown and it's over the weekend. But we tried to talk with 3 employees about how long they think it will take for a table to open up. All three quickly and dismissively said not for a while. I felt like their response and treatment was similar to how a parent treats a child that was getting annoying. I did not feel welcome or like they valued our business. I went a few minutes away to Injeera Restaurant and had the best Eritrean food in...

Fazit: Empfehlenswert. Ein Erlebnis der...
