Lek’s Thailändisches Spezialitätenrestaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Stuttgart

Reviewing many Thai restaurants around the world I need to spare the 5 stars for the really special ones. This means that my ratings are below average usually, as it is here. But the 4 stars mean, that it was a good dining experience altogether. Going to Stuttgart with a party of 5 of mostly Thai origin, we selected by rating and pictures. We wanted to try Kwan Kao with the best rating, but as one of us can't walk stairs we had to pass. Also in Lek's there are stairs. But coming from the back and sitting outside there were only 2 manageable steps. The menu is really extensive. So there is something for everyone. Quality was good altogether. Only the noodle soup, was not up to the standard we are used to. But we ordered so many things ... ordering Thai style covering the table and more ... so there were so many very good dishes that one can recommend: give it a try! You won't be disappointed. Das Essen schmeckt echt thailändisch, weil ich bei der Bestellung von Papayasalat eine laufende Nase hatte und Papayasalat mit Krabben und fermentiertem Fisch sehr selten ist. Meine Freundin geht normalerweise in einige thailändische Restaurants. Nachdem wir nach Hause gegangen sind, wird er das Brot weiter essen, weil es nicht satt ist und der Geschmack nicht für unsere Geschmacksknospen geeignet ist. Aber als er in dieses Restaurant kam, konnte er das Restaurant kaum verlassen, er musste Wasser trinken und sich ausruhen, um die Verdauung anzukurbeln. Der Service ist sehr gut, man begrüßt und empfiehlt das Essen gut. Das Ladenpersonal besteht aus Thailändern, die gut Deutsch und Englisch sprechen. Ich finde es toll, dass dieses Restaurant eine Speisekarte mit Bildern und einer Auswahl an Schärfegraden hat. Oder auch wenn das Essen scharf ist: Wenn Sie das Gericht nicht sehr scharf essen möchten, können Sie es dem Restaurant mitteilen.Das Orangen-Thai-Teegetränk war köstlich.
