We got a table quickly and then the wait started. Waiter was slow, unattentive and everywhere except with us. She was super friendly but never checked on our table after taking our order.
Just so you get an idea. We ordered drinks and got our food before the drinks (+20 minutes). In terms of service - one star.
Food was satisfactory and I have some suggestions on what could be improved: Tagliatelle or pasta should not swim in sauce. My preference is that it just covers the pasta and does not pool. Tiramisu was too wet and in my experience never put fruit on top.
During the course of our dinner another waiter tried to serve us wine two times additionally by mistake. Not an issue, but that might help illustrate the disorganised way of working.
When we got the check, a wasp attacked our wine, and the waiter said nothing and did nothing. I don’t believe in signs but, if that’s not a get outta here, I don’t know what is 🙂

We booked a table for lunch with our 3 children, and after ordering some cold antipasti (cheese and coldcut plate), pasta, osso buco and pizza, we waited around 20 minutes to be served all the dishes together: first the hot pasta, followed by the cold antipasti. That forced us to eat the pasta first (to enjoy it warm) and then the antipasti.
From a taste point of view, all the cooked dishes were not salted enough, and my parmesan pasta with truffle was soaked in water (see picture). The osso buso and pizza were good. The bacon in the spaghetti alla carbonara were slightly under cooked leaving an unpleasant raw porc fat taste in the mouth. The coldcut and cheese were good. The Terrapiebo Primitivo wine was very good (see picture)!
Finally for 154€ we could have eaten much better food in La Commedia, or Oggi (unfortunately completely booked that day), where I tasted killer spaghetti with parmesan...
Read moreThe three-star rating feels a bit generous, to be honest. The food was quite average, especially considering the number of positive reviews this place has. For an Italian restaurant, I expected something more authentic and flavorful.
They don’t serve traditional pizza but rather “pinsa” – which I understand is a different style – but the taste reminded me more of a cheap chain pizza than anything artisanal or high quality. The saltimbocca was fine, nothing special, and the pasta for the child was okay, though the tomato sauce was very bland.
I regularly visit Italian restaurants across Europe, and this one, sadly, was a...
