4/4/23 The falafel itself was very good and light on the palate, it wasn't overly fried and oily. The sauces ranging from aubergine-tomato to yogurt were excellent. However the pita bread itself was underwhelming and purely serves as a vehicle to get the rest of the food into your mouth. I believe the entire dish should be included in the experience, even the oral entry vehicle. It was also a bit flimsy so eating the pita on the move is not recomended. You're liable to spill (as I did 🫢).
The pita sandwich as a whole was also lacking texture. Sure, there was a salad mix which was very good, but the ratio of sauce plus the soft falafel versus the salad made the pita lacking in a bit of crunchy texture that I found myself missing.
I hope to give more critical reviews going forward, so don't take this as a bad sign. I rate this place at "the food is good and may recomended to friends, however, I didn't leave completely satisfied. I would return to try it again or if in the mood for falafel."
6/4/23 I was back at Vegi to get reimbursed because they accidently charged me twice. The staff was very helpful in returning the funds, so 7/5 on service. I saw the most incredible sight, the person making the pita had put a layer of the salad mix on the bottom as well as on top, in effect correcting the texture ratio that I said was unbalanced. I believe this combination would be more palatable, however, I had other dinner plans so I did not try it. Of course my ego thought "wow, look at the change I affected". However, upon deeper retrospection I remembered that the person making my pita the first time around was on her first day of the job. Undoubtedly she had prepared the pita incorrectly and my critique of an unbalanced texture ratio was a fluke. Looking forward to trying the pita again, however, my final rating above remains due to: 1. Me not having tried the pita again. 2. The pita bread will not be different since it's bought from...

Read moreThe best falafel in Stuttgart !!! It's a pure vegetarian and vegan based restaurant. They have two options mostly - falafel teller or a falafel im brot. They have a wide range of sauces to select from. They also have 3 toppings from which you can select 1 and the falafel im brot is usually served with salad, 1 sauce and 1 topping. The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh and yummy. It usually gets crowded in the evenings and on weekends. There is a small indoor and outdoor seating available as well. If you are looking for a falafel wrap then I will recommend only this place in Stuttgart. Their hummus sauce is also very fresh, delicious and authentic The falafel is also well cooked and authentic and way way better than any other falafel wraps we get in any Turkish döner shops. If you are a vegetarian or vegan then this is the place for you. I will highly recommend falafel im brot with Obama sauce or hummus sauce served with...
