I was very disappointed, but that was not the first time feeling this way with carambolage.

I have been there every now and then, and with every time I visited, some kind of mistake on the Bar's side came up.

Not to mention other things like not letting you enter into a sports Bar in summer time, when wearing shorts, not the sporty kinds, but more the regular shorts, that you really could not identify as Sportswear. The name is SPORTS BAR, were people watch Sports and still the security was not letting me in that one time.

This bar got multiple chances from me, but with their last behavior and attitude towards customers they really messed up, I will not recommend to anyone to go there. I was going there directly after work, arrived at 21:25, greeted my friends, played one hour of pool, drank 1 Beer inbetween all of this, payed at the front for my minimum consumption fee of 5€, was very friendly with staff and entry check, but then got completely taken for a fool when I wanted to pay at the end, after only being there for 1 hour.

The beer was not expensive enough to get past 5€ so I was intending to just give one drink on the house for the person working at entrance checkup, because I was leaving and if I was gonna pay more, then at least someone should still benefit from that. When they checked the card you get on entry, on which every order is registered, my bill was 47,90€ instead of 4,90€.

I was very friendly at first and told them that was impossible, they knew and saw when I entered the Bar and the barkeepers only saw me one time when I ordered the Beer at the bar.

Their response was very neglecting and in disbelieve. I explained to them that me ordering that much in such short amount of time would be impossible, because of the time amount I was being there and I asked them to please check the times when the drinks were ordered. The only response I got from the entire staff as well as the boss was, I was responsible for my own card and what happens with it and so I still had to pay. This is when I got very irritated, because:

They didnt take me serious at all as a customer They repeated the same answer over and over without offering any solution When offering a solution myself (knowing the business because I work there myself) they would simply ignore it and still ask for me to pay. They pushed away the responsibility onto the customer, even though the customer does not register his drinks on the card himself, instead he has to give the card to the barkeepers, who could do whatever they want with it in this process, because there was also no way to check your own orders by yourself. (Hypothetically barkeepers could charge you with drinks they would consume, leave 20 minutes later because their shift is over and you are left with a completely overcharged card but nobody knows who charged it like this or what happened).

The underlying signal that was communicated with this kind of customer treatment was:

They do not care Its your mistake not ours You are not smart enough to take care of your card

The barkeeper that served me was already gone, so I was not able to ask the exact person how this happened. My hunch is, that either someone messed up big time, the moment they took my card to place the order on it for my single beer that I ordered at the bar, or it might have even been intentional. Getting the beer also took quite a while, so there was something feeling very fishy there already.

The Bar is relaxing itself on the fact that they are almost the only bar in Stuttgart, that still offers Billards together with drinks and some Sports in the background. If they go on like this, they can start thinking about closing soon, because this is no way to treat anybody, let alone customers, that are willing to spend money on your very underwhelming establishment. Prices for Food and drinks and games are way overpriced, for not offering any sort of service. Then the overall very blaming attitude, when they messed up themselves and wouldn't even consider a mistake...

The bouncers attitude varies from week to week. I was forced to pay for the entry of my 7year old son even if the previous week was not required. The Wi-Fi does not work and telefone reception is very bad due to being on basement and all electronic devices. Staff mostly unwelcoming and seems that any question is a burden

The place will continue to be popular and attract a lot of people because it has very good potential, lots of screens and some atmosphere can be created...

I go here for billiards, so as far as that goes, the tables are nice (used, but not scuffed), and there are plenty of cues to choose from (I'd say maybe 1/3 are really straight). I think there are 8 tables in the "normal" area, and also 4 more in a smoking area. There's a basic food menu with things like pizza and sandwiches, as well as a drink menu. And there's darts! Maybe ~8 boards. The 4/5 is because I'd like if the food had better quality and greater variety. Finally, it's mostly German-speaking, so at least A1 level would be helpful to...
