The presentation for the food was stunning. The food itself was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 4 course meal, my wife ordered a few appetizer dishes which were equally proportionate to my meal and quite large on their own. They offered to bring her dishes out at the same time I received mine which was wonderful.

They have a dedicated kids menu which was also great for two stubborn meat eating boys. Although, I think the kids loved the bread and fish spreads better. Best part, they insisted on eating the greens that came with the spreads when we told them they couldn't have any unless they did.

At one point during the meal, my wife took the children to the rest room. The chief noticed and a few minutes later brought over a savory scallop in ginger sauce, it tasted amazing. It was too good to eat alone, I had to wait for my wife so she could try some. Obviously, it was all presented in an equally beautiful seashell sitting on top sea salt.

The staff was very friendly and professional, we showed up a little early for our reservation and accommodated us with no issue. They let us pick to either eat on the terrace or indoors. We chose to eat outside but it was a little windy, and so we asked if we could move back indoors. No problem!

The food is OK, it's not exceptional but the price are also not too expensive so it's OK. However, we had to wait more that 30min to get the bill. I asked for it at the same time as my dessert, but they didn't bring it. When I wanted to pay, the table next to us also wanted to pay (they were 10 people, we were 3) and the waiter decided to go to them first. They all wanted to pay separately, and it took ages. Wir sind alle paar Monate im Tre Kronen essen. Bisher waren wir immer zufrieden oder sogar sehr zufrieden, doch was wir das letzte Mal an Qualität serviert bekommen haben, war leider nicht einmal annähernd dem Preis und dem Niveau entsprechend. Vorneweg gibt es immer Brot mit Butter und Fischaufstrich. Schon beim ersten Bissen hatte ich das Gefühl, dass mit dem Fisch etwas nicht stimmt, ich dachte aber, dass das hier nicht sein kann und habe nichts gesagt. Allerdings auch nicht mehr weiter gegessen. Meine Mutter hatte leider schon mehr gegessen und ist zudem auch empfindlicher mit dem Magen als ich. Danach hatten wir Rumpsteak mit Pommes für über 50 €. Das Fleisch war zäh und von Sehnen durchzogen und die Pommes kalt und nicht knusprig. Der Umgang des Personals mit dieser Kritik war perfekt. Die Pommes wurden uns 3 Mal neu gemacht, bis sie gut waren und das Fleisch hätten sie uns auch neu gemacht, jedoch wollten wir nicht, dass so ein Lebensmittel „verschwendet“ und weggeworfen wird. Das ist auch nicht jammern auf hohem Niveau, sondern wäre auch für einen günstigeren Preis ein Essen gewesen, für das man nicht ins Restaurant geht. Ich hoffe sehr, dass an der Qualität gearbeitet wird, jedoch werden wir das Tre Kronen in Zukunft meiden.
