Visiting Würzburg we found this little, in a small side street hidden Thai bistro and were extremely pleasantly surprised! We started out with a Tom Kha Gai soup which had the perfect balance of coconut milk, spices, chicken and vegetables, "Fall rolls" (rice paper, glass noodles, mushrooms, pork, shrimp and vegetables) served with a homemade plum sauce and the daily soup made with corn, curry and vegetables. As a main course we had the duck with chili, cilantro, Thai basil and vegetables served with white rice. It was delicious, everything tasted absolutely wonderful, especially the chicken soup. The prices are very reasonable, service was fast and friendly. I wanted to order the fried banana with honey for desert but my husband wouldn't let me because I wrote this long review...

Von vorne bis hinten einfach perfekt. Tung hat uns super freundlich empfangen, direkt einen schönen Tisch für zwei gefunden und uns schnell bedient – total aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die klare Suppe mit Hähnchen und Gemüse zur Vorspeise war wunderbar würzig und kräftig – nicht so fad wie in vielen anderen Restaurants. Danach gab’s für mich Ente mit Erdnussoße, für meine Freundin das gelbe Curry – beides mit Reis. Die Ente war außen herrlich knusprig, innen butterzart. Das Gemüse frisch und knackig. Richtig schön: Die hausgemachte Sojasoße und Erdnussoße kamen extra dazu – so kann man selbst dosieren, und das Fleisch bleibt perfekt. Meine Freundin bestellt sehr oft gelbes Curry wenn wir unterwegs sind – hier war‘s ihr Favorit. Ich hab’s probiert und kann es nur bestätigen. Rundum ein tolles Erlebnis – geschmacklich, atmosphärisch und vom Service her. Wir kommen ab jetzt öfter!

Auf die Frage ob der Koch Thailänder sei, kam die Antwort: der Koch ist leider krank. Auf die Frage warum italienischer Basilikum statt Thai Basilikum im Curry sei, kam die Antwort: Thai Basilikum ist zu teuer. Das ist so als wenn man einen Vodka Lemon bestellt und einen Vodka Korn bekommt, mit der Begründung Korn ist halt billiger. Die Maracujasaft Schorle war warm. Der Laden hat nichts mit einem Thai Bistro zu tun. Der Einrichtung und dem Geschirr nach zu urteilen ist das eher ein Chinese als ein Thai. Für Leute ohne kulinarischen Anspruch ist der Laden wahrscheinlich in Ordnung.

So let me be clear, The food was 8/10 that mean very good but.. The service guy tries to be smart . If you order a food with rice but instead of rice you want noodles he will coast you extra without telling you, that means you will pay for the rice that you didn’t had and the noodles. Some pirate stuff Last but not least they sell duck meat as chicken meat . We talking real...

Very friendly and attentive staff (he opened the outdoor area just for us), quick food preparation, good price, delicious food. It's a bit offsite the main road - so it's quiet and cozy, but still quickly reachable from the tram station Neubaustraße. Parking is available if you're lucky.
