Trattoria Lugana — Restaurant in Würzburg

Calamarata Absolutely Exquisite! What a find as I was passing through Wurzberg coming back from visiting friends. I have really enjoyed Italian food all over, including in Rome, Italy. Trattoria Lugana served me the greatest Italian meal I have had in my 48 year life. I don’t speak German or Italian but the beautiful server/daughter of the chef spoke perfect English and I pressed her for a recommendation, and she recommended the House Specialty - Calamarata made with Calamari and olives with fresh pasta in a special tomato sauce and it was other worldly. The pasta was different than I had ever had - the size of ravioli and cooked to a perfect al dante. The sauce was to die for and the ingredients were fresh and delicious, some of which I could not even recognize. She asked if I wanted a white wine and I asked for a dry one. She brought me a glass of Lugana Cadei Frati and it was the perfect pairing. Could not have been happier as I sat in the shaded outdoor eating area enjoying spectacular...

Gentile signora unica propretaria del ristorante le ricordo che mio marito è stato costretto a svolgere il ruolo anche di pulizie, visto che grazie ad un altro suo dipendente nessun altro durava più di una settimana, ma d’altronde dozzine di ex dipendenti possono dimostrarlo, mio marito ha svolto mansioni dalla A alla Z con una busta paga mensile di 1100€ ovviamente dimostrabile (se vuole allego foto), dicesi “festlohn” senza dar conto alle 10/12 ore lavorative giornaliere ah, dimenticavo i bonus di ferie e Natale mai ricevuti,ma non serve, la clientela può essere testimone di come mio marito con professionalità e supremazia ha svolto tutte le mansioni che normalmente avrebbero svolto 3 persone : aiuto cuoco, cameriere, addetto alle bevande, spazzature, pulizia extra settimanale di cappe forni e attrezzature da cucina, le consiglio inoltre di avvisare uno dei suoi dipendenti di non infangare più il nome di mio marito, visto che dopo sette mesi per farvene voi ancora una ragione andate raccontando menzogne e calugnando sperando di pulirvi l’immagine,Per quanto riguarda mia figlia nei 4 anni e mezzo come dice lei ha mangiato tre volte la pizza ovviamente preparata e cucinata da mio marito unico e solo motivo per cui le è stato concesso! Ah dimenticavo i soldi e il tempo che avremmo dovuto spendere per un avvocato per denunciarvi li ho dati in beneficenza!!!

Sehr geehrter Einzelbesitzer des Restaurants, ich erinnere Sie daran, dass mein Mann gezwungen war, die Reinigungsfunktion zu übernehmen, da dank eines anderen Mitarbeiters niemand länger als eine Woche gedauert hat, aber andererseits können Dutzende ehemaliger Mitarbeiter dies beweisen, mein Ehemann erledigte Aufgaben von A bis Z mit einem monatlichen Gehaltsscheck von 1100 € offensichtlich nachweisbar (wenn Sie Fotos anhängen möchten), wir sagen "festlohn" ohne Berücksichtigung der 10/12 Arbeitsstunden pro Tag ah, ich habe die nie erhaltenen Weihnachts- und Weihnachtsprämien vergessen Kunden können jedoch miterleben, wie mein Mann mit Professionalität und Vorherrschaft alle Aufgaben ausgeführt hat, die normalerweise 3 Personen erledigt hätten: Kochassistent, Kellner, Trinker, Müll, zusätzliche wöchentliche Reinigung von Hauben, Öfen und Geräten Küche, ich rate Ihnen auch, einem Ihrer Mitarbeiter zu raten, den Namen meines Mannes nicht mehr zu trüben, da Sie nach sieben Monaten noch einen Grund mehr haben Lügen erzählen und widerwillig hoffen, das Bild zu bereinigen. Was meine Tochter in den viereinhalb Jahren betrifft, wie sie sagt, sie hat dreimal die Pizza gegessen, die offensichtlich von meinem einzigen Ehemann zubereitet und gekocht wurde, und nur aus dem Grund, warum sie gewährt wurde! Ah, ich habe vergessendas Geld und die Zeit , die wir für einen Anwalt aufwenden müssten, um Ihnen zu melden, dass ich sie für wohltätige Zwecke...

We saw this on TripAdvisor and Google and decided to give it a shot. I’m glad we did. It’s a small little restaurant. I had a pizza with truffle on it delicious which is something that I would never get in the state (it would’ve been three times the amount cost) . We also had a pasta with shrimp and a side salad it was a very nice way to spend an evening except the inside is not air conditioned and they didn’t have any outdoor tables so we had to sit inside which was a little uncomfortable. I would’ve given a five stars if it wasn’t for that not their fault, but still an observation. The service was very good. They spoke English. They helped me out a lot. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who’s in the area look like a lot of residence that live in the community of the city are eating there no tourist , which is a good thing. Which tells me it’s a good Italian...
