Restaurant Sen — Restaurant in Weimar

Sen is the best restaurant in Weimar. You order at a window and they bring out your order pretty quickly. The food is not too expensive and it is all delicious. The summer rolls have a nice crunch with the fresh veggies and the pineapple iced tea is sweet and refreshing. The star for me was the Crispy Duck Lo Mein. The duck was cooked perfectly and had a crispy texture that paired perfectly with the noodles. Beautiful and peaceful little terrace, great if you're looking to get away from the tourists and the bustle near the national theatre or just to take a break from exploring. The service was phenomenal and very friendly, always smiling and made us feel very welcome. While it wasn't the best Vietnamese food I've ever had, it was still very good, especially considering what a small town Weimar is. I'd come here...

Die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Der Preis ist auch sehr gut.

Das Essen selbst war nicht gut, sondern eher enttäuschend. Es schmeckte so ziemlich nach nichts, sodass man das Essen im Nachhinein sehr stark nachwürzen musste.

Die Soße ist auch sehr wässrig. Das hat leider nichts mehr mit Nuoc Mam (die vietnamesische soße zu dem Gericht) zu tun. Ich wurde leider auch nicht davon satt.

Das Getränk... Naja.. Wir hatten Limonade gehabt, aber man hat lediglich Wasser erhalten mit etwas Minze und Zitronenstücke an denen fast nichts dran war. Siehe Bild.
