Heritage Craft Brewery — Restaurant in Accra

Went with a team. Reserving space for my team was easy and accommodating before 4pm. Their phone was unresponsive after that.

The team liked their beers. Their malt is the only non-alcoholic drink they have but it was light, refreshing and tasty.

Food service is an expected 30min to 1 hour wait per menu item. Ours was good, we ordered 2 pizzas, a pizza slice and 2 pork suya portions at different times. Those who had been there before said our pork suyas had improved from their previous experiences with it. Their pizzas were flavourful. We had enough games at our table.

What you finally pay is actually the price you see on the menu plus 10%. It took me over an hour to get all our bills and have them paid with unnecessarily long wait times and about 4 walks to the counter or across the room to chase our waiter or their supervisor just to get our bills. Really messed up my night.

I doubt I'd go back for that level of frustration. If you're a large team of more than 4 ordering from their 3 vendors (beers, pizza, food) don't expect to get your split bills sorted and paid within an hour, so ask for it early. Heritage beers are freshly brewed right there with excellent customer service. The atmosphere is very suited for drinking , i.e., dimly lit, cold, and woody. Lol, nice setup with awesome beer. And first time you will see the machines all on there and brewing. Their beers are flavoured for you if you don't want the bitter taste of raw beer. There is pineapple, mango, and other flavours and even distinct local flavours. You can have a tasting before you order the main beer you want. Which is good. They also have other Ghanaian and foreign beers and ciders in glass. So don't worry if you don't have a thing for beers. They also have wings, drums and rice and pizza from the next door shops. Heritage Craft Brewery is a unique set up of a mini brewery and a sports pub. They brew their own beer and I tried the non alcoholic variant as I don't drink. That was very tasty. The atmosphere was buzzing and exciting. I was there to watch some sports and the high patronage created this almost stadium effect. The board games on the tables ensured that there were other activities for the not so keen on sports crowd. The only downside was the service. The waiters and waitresses seemed swarmed by the numbers. They could do with more hands. This caused delayed serving of the food and even water. For the beer, that showed up very quickly.
