The worst meat (kalamaki) I've had in my life. I don't normally leave this bad review, but this place (I cannot call it a restaurant) deserves it.

The pork souvlaki was tasteless and the chicken souvlaki was very dry, almost inedible. You must try really hard to make a tasteless meat and grill it in such a bad way. Where I come from, such shops would shut down with this quality of food.

The pitta bread was dry and without any herbs/flavor. The chips were cold and inedible, my partner couldn't eat them and she's coming from a country with very bad chips in their cuisine (England).

The tzatziki was basic, almost tasteless, I've had better tzatziki from the local supermarket. The only edible part of the portions were the tomatoes, which, ironically, was the only part of the food that was not produced by that place.

The service was very slow, only the young lad was running all over the place and he looked overwhelmed. Lots of bravos to that young man who could work I'm such speed.

I am surprised to see good reviews for this place. 80% of the menu was not available and from what we've heard, they do not make pita wraps for the customes, only for delivery! (Makes no sense, haven't heard of this anywhere in Greece).

All in all, I will avoid this and similar places in Argostoli, by the port, where the moto is "quantity over quality". Last night was a massive waste of 24€, we had to eat ice cream from a place nearby to get the taste of our mouth and we had crepes somewhere near the square as we were very hungry.

(The photo is an example of how much food we left due to the very...

An authentic, local grill bar where Greeks go to enjoy hearty meals. The food is excellent, with massive portions! I first visited this spot when a friend I met in Argostoli took me there. I ordered souvlaki with fries, pita bread, and some vegetables. The dish was fantastic and only cost €5, plus €3 for a beer. I was so impressed that I returned the next day to try a different dish – the local sausage, which was equally delicious. The owners are incredibly friendly. The lady doesn’t speak English, but she’s one of the most wonderful people I’ve met. Always smiling and chatting with guests in Greek, she brings such positive energy...

DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this place 3 times in 24 hours, every single time the service was horrible (chicken was unbelievable) I tried to bring the energy, told them how amazing their food was but the chef seemed miserable. On the last day I came in wanting just the chicken by itself for takeaway! I gave them 8 euro and received the smallest portion of chicken. Their customer service / customer relationship is horrible. I tried to keep supporting this place but will never come back. Super...

Visited August 2024 - Seriously the best Gyros we had in Kefalonia! Absolutely delicious, could have eaten at least 3 of them. Meat is cooked perfectly on the spit, bags of flavour and very juicy and tender. The corn pitta wrap paired perfectly with the meat, salad and fries and the sauce. If you get a chance to go here or are in the general area of Argostoli, I highly recommend coming here. The place is small but worth it! And the prices are very cheap for this type of freshly cooked gyros.
