Absolutely fantastic staff, service and food!

Came to kefalonia last year and ate here a number of times. We've returned to kefalonia on our honeymoon and took the opportunity to eat here again today and Zoe remembered us from last year and asked about our wedding, it was like meeting up with an old friend!! 🙂

We both had the chicken gyros which was superb as always!

We shared some crepes for dessert, Zoe made these with banana on one side as I am not keen on banana and my wife does.. these were made to absolute perfection, as you can see from the photo it had the perfect amount of sauce!!!

This is certainly the best coffee shop in Kefalonia (try the freddo cappuccino!!! Perfect intense coffee flavor with thick milk foam) and has a gorgeous view over the water, nice serving and very good food (riganada, scrambled eggs with veggies pandaisia, pancakes with honey, banana and walnuts, gyros, Greek salad, orange cake, all great!). The owner is simply wonderful and she took the time to talk to us more than once, always serving us with a smile on her face and you can see that she really cares about the quality of their dishes, as they are using high quality ingredients. Disappointing experience. We had a couple of dishes which were good, then kids had ordered the crepes. They came out late due to an issue with the machine, these things happen, however there was just so much chocolate/syrup on them they were inedible. Again these things happen, we just apologised and said we couldn’t eat them however the service then got quite hostile with ‘you can have something else, but you’ll need to pay for these’.
