Visited in April 2025. We were told about this place by Vagelis Simotas from whom we had rented a car. We talked of Mageirios around Argostoli and he said this place was new since our last visit and worth trying. The actual recommendation came from his father. Seniors are well informed in my opinion, so we thought we would try it. This place is superb. I did not think we would find another Tzivras (see separate review) but it is that good. Not much seating, but most people were collecting takeaways, so no problem. As with Tzivras, everything was on display and looked very good. We visited twice and had one takeaway. Excellent quality and great service. Run by two sisters and their mother. It is simple food done very well. Simply world class! The sum of all greek restaurants! Family run by 2 amazing local girls, brother and mom. Vertically integrated , they control all raw materials entering the kitchen. The menu includes all greek cuisine dishes - if they don't have it they'll prepare it for you on order. Dishes disappear and appear at an astronomical speed, all come out fresh. Runs all day. Superb food, wide range of meat and veggies. We chanced upon it in the morning so took away dishes to eat later. We tasted fried cod and moussaka, but there is also briam, spetsofai and other Greek specialties. Only downside is that the menu is only in Greek, so better choose from what you see at the counter.
