Bar 56 — Restaurant in Athens

I think it's the only restaurant so far I've seen in Athens that has a bar section where the bar operates like an American/British bar; which is that it has a bartender who tends the bar - so he speaks with you and talks and is friendly and enjoys having conversations and can read your face/eyes and know when you need something.

Entering Bar 56 is like stepping back in time. Awesome jazz music playing in the background and a very cosy space. We went there because my partner really likes Japanese whiskies, and there were five different ones on offer (though all blended).
