Let me start out my review with the bad part, the cab driver was grumpy. That is all I can say bad about this stay. Dimitris was an incredible host. When we came to check in mid-morning our room was not ready and we had apparently booked two rooms in error. The young lady at check-in was apologizing to me as if it was her fault. She was so sweet in fixing it and refunding the overbooking which was 100% my fault. Since our room was not ready we grabbed a cab to the Acropolis just to see what the area was like for our scheduled tour the next day. The hotel called shortly after to let us know our room was ready. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel. The manager, Dimitris(Jimmy) welcomed us upon our return and offered us a drink. ||We got to our room and did not have any power. We had no idea that you had to insert the card in a slot in the room to turn the power on. We took a short nap and decided to go down to the lobby to have a drink. Neither of us were hungry. Dimitris welcomed us again with a heartwarming smile. We talked and Greece and America for an hour and then ended to night of the beautiful terrace for a cigar with him. He would run down to check on guests in the lobby and then return for more conversation. We went to bed early because we had a full day tour of Athina the following day. ||The next day was amazing with our driver Niko taking us all around Athens and talking about the history of the land. We stopped at a seaside restaurant for lunch and ended the day back with Dimitris smiling again upon our return. We were not particularly hungry but since he had a beautiful menu we decided to eat. The dining experience was one of the best that I have ever had in my life. All authentic Greek cuisine. Chef came out to greet us and we talked again for an hour. We had to wake early for a 7am flight to Santorini and Dimitris set up a cab for a 5am pickup. We said goodnight and it was actually really sad leaving someone who we got so close to in such a short period of time. ||The last part of the stay really brought this part of our trip full circle. When we were leaving at 5am to an empty hotel and the elevator door opened there was a shopping bag with our name on it with a box lunch of water, two hard boiled eggs, a plum and a Turkey and cheese sandwich and a beautiful hand written note. It is one of the classiest things I have ever seen. There was a second bag for another guest that was also departing early. To make it even more special, he left a bag marked “taxi driver 1” with a pastry in it. |Dimitris and his staff did a job above and beyond anywhere I have ever stayed. There are probably 20 more positive things that I can mention but I highly recommend...
Read moreMany thanks to the people working there. They all are very attentive and ready to help you with any request you have. The breakfast was delicious, it s served fresh, hot dishes are very tasty. The only problem is that you have a form to choose your preferences the night before. The room - although is very clean i didn't find anywhere in this world such an odd design. The functionality it lacks completely. You have in one spot the WC, in another the sink and in another the shower. The sink is strange and very big. It looks more like a bucket than a sink and i imagine a short person trying to wash his face. I didn't like it although i m not short at all. Another thing is that they don't provide slippers, vanity set, dental kit, you need to ask for it and i find this quite disturbing. It s rated like a 4 stars hotel and you need to ask for this things. Another issue - don't stay there if you are a light sleeper. The club next door plays loud music until 6 in the morning so you have to deal with that. They provide ear plugs knowing this issue. I m traveling a lot to athens for business and for fun. This was a business situation and i didn't like the noise. I needed rest. If you like to party or going out , this is the right neighborhood. Around the hotel are plenty of bars, restaurants where you can eat great and party nice. Mixed feelings about this accommodation, i will stay again only if i m coming to have fun and i don't care...
Read moreWe had an incredible stay at Project 3 Urban Chic Hotel in Kolonaki! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond—special thanks to Niki, Sotiria, Nikos, and the manager, Apostolis for making our stay so memorable. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about every detail of our experience.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and modern, striking the perfect balance between comfort and style. Every corner of the hotel reflects thoughtful design and a chic urban vibe that made us feel both relaxed and inspired.
The location in Kolonaki is perfect—central yet peaceful, with great cafes, shops, and cultural spots just steps away.
The only thing we wish is that the outlets were updated to include USB/USB-C ports for international travelers and easier use. That would make an already fantastic experience absolutely perfect.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Athens and would absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish boutique hotel with...
