I recently visited Cafeteria Prasini Tenta in Lykavittos and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The cafeteria offers breathtaking views of Athens and the surrounding area, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the city.

But the view is not the only thing that makes this cafeteria special. The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make sure that every customer feels welcome and taken care of. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest.

I visited this bar tonight with high expectations, especially given the many positive mentions of its great view. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired.

Right upon arrival, we were told twice—rather abruptly—that the place would close at midnight, even though their listed hours on Google say 1:00 AM. When we asked for a drink menu, one of the staff members responded with a condescending tone: “You want a menu? Even though I told you we’re closing at midnight?”—not exactly the kind of welcome you’d hope for.

Throughout our stay, both waitresses repeatedly gave us unfriendly looks and walked by our table with clear annoyance. It made us feel quite unwelcome. Despite all this, we stayed until 12:30 AM and noticed that several other tables (at least five) were still occupied, so it’s clear we weren’t the last guests.

As we left, one of the waitresses walked right past us without so much as a “Good night” or “Goodbye.” For a venue that boasts such a beautiful view, it’s a shame that the service is so uninviting. Sadly, I won’t be returning—and I wouldn’t recommend it based on...

Excellent food and service. We were going to stop in for a drink but the menu looked interesting so decided to eat there as well. It was an excellent choice. I tend to lower my expectations on food and service when there is a good view because generally guest are more interested in the view than the food but this place was the exact opposite. The food was superb. The ceviche was bright and beautiful the crispy sweet potato strings and radish added texture and crunch. Every mouthful was delicious. The zucchini fritters were perfectly crispy in the outside and tender and perfectly cooked on the inside. My teenage son devoured his burger and chicken yakitori tacos were a huge hit for my daughter. We also shared a superfood salad which was delicious. The chef elevated traditional Greek food and brought in an amazing blend of interesting influences into a delicious lunch. Service was top notch, attentive, warm and friendly. And oh you a spectacular view of the acropolis and all of Athens all the way to the sea. We have had good meals in Athens but this one will...
