however, the disgusting part was that the people with whom i was talking did not say it, the old woman who ran out of the kitchen waving the figurative spatula did. her words, were, if you cant undetstand, well tell you in another language. after we spent mich time explaining. how does it make sense when we are of the same county .... extremely rude and disgusting. people beware, very rude staff, and also hostile, also now liars. stay away from this restaurant.
Alsi, do you not see the irony .. you telk me in greek , after a five minute conversation, that if i dont understabd in greek, youll tell me in another language, yet you tell me this in greek, for what? The poffies are an amazing idea, similar to donuts but not so heavy. They have other food on the menu but if you go I highly recommend getting the poffies. We ordered the green salad, the feta & honey filled poffies, ground beef filled poffies, and sweet poffies topped with butter and cinnamon. The poffies were so light and fluffy. all were amazing!
The vibe of the restaurant is super laid back and relaxing. The staff were also very attentive and friendly. It’s also a smaller establishment with 6 or 7 tables, so it felt very cozy and welcoming. all shaded outdoor seating which was very nice. Also very reasonably priced, high quality, and not busy/touristy!
One of the best restaurants we’ve tried in Athens....
Read moreAthens, Greece @ 84 Veikou street. 1.2km from the Acropolis museum. Open between 9am - 5pm. 9 seatings. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We opted for breakfast. Vegetarian omelette with feta cheese, peppers, olives and tomato. We received water at the table (no additional charge) and we had cappuccinos and 2 glasses of Prosecco. The food was well presented, delicious and good. The omelette was prepared nicely and not burnt (as I experienced when ordering omelette). The owner, Agapi, and staff, Harianna, was present. The were friendly and helpful and created a friendly environment and good positive atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit for an enjoyable brunch in a quaint and relaxing environment....
