I was in Athnes on my own and too much walking makes me feel hungry so I just googled Indian restaurant where I found more than 10 restaurants nearby me including this (Bukhari restaurant). After seeing very good reviews I thought of having my lunch there. The moment i entered one of staff greeted me and gave me a table and bought one small 500ml water bottle which was very kind welcome . The waiter given me menu and menu was so sticky maybe oil. I ordered 2 veg fried rice , prawn vindalo and okra. He told me that my order will be ready in 10-15 mins so I asked him for a chilled tin coke. It’s been 25-30mins my food order didn’t arrived either coke. I called waiter and he replied :- sir 2 mins almost ready , our food is freshly prepared and served. I said ok at lest give me coke which I ordered. Well my order came after 45 mins. after waiting long. Now my order is on my table and I don’t feel like eating it bcz the rice was stinking as if it was cooked yesterday and they just pre-heated and served. Really disappointed. The restaurant has no hygiene standards the toilets are dirty , the tables dirty , outside open sitting area dirty, even I can see that kitchen was also dirty. I saw some people (more than 5) and having conversations with their on language but they were not customers , they were just sitting and using WiFi (maybe posting fake reviews). Very dirty restaurant. I’ll never ever visit this restaurant again. Waste...
Read moreMy family and I were on vacation in Greece to see and enjoy the various historical sites and get a flavor of the city. We were staying in the Victoria Square area and wanted to eat some Indian food. We checked Google and there were a couple of Indian restaurants to choose from. We went to the first Indian restaurant and it seemed like they were phasing out of serving Indian food altogether and only had a few choices of Indian food and the gentleman told us we could choose from 6 or 8 dishes that were premade in their deli case. We did not find the selection to be of our liking so we went to the other Indian restaurant right around the corner Ginger Indian Grill. The selection of Indian food here was quite complete. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. If u like spice and deep rich authentic flavor this is the place. The only drawback we experienced was lack of Air conditioning however the place has indoor and outdoor seating with free WiFi. Service was...
Read moreI'm giving 2 stars because the curry and the naan were really good. Unfortunately the rest was pretty bad. The place is runned down and the 70% of the people that are there are not customers. They are usually people who are using the internet connection from the restaurant to do their stuff. Service was bad too. I got a menu after I sat down and nobody told me that almost everything that was listed in the menu was missing. For example, in the menu there's 8 to 9 choices but they actually had just veggie samosas available. They had just 3 or 4 types of curries, when instead there's plenty in the menu. They didn't have any rice available (kinda incredible in an Indian restaurant) but just naan. The food otherwise was really tasty but I really think they don't care much about hygiene in...
