Green Kebab — Restaurant in Athens

Lovely all halal turkish restaurant in Athens with a traditional pide oven!

Location: Restaurant is now called bereket restauarant (there is already a picture of the outside of the restaurant in the pictures section with the new name if you have trouble finding it. Seems they have refursbished the place, most of the same items on the menu with small changes.

Ambience: Ambience was lovely, very welcoming and relaxing.

Service: Friendly and polite servers.

Food: Nice selection of the usual tyrkish food - kebabs, pide, lahmachun, meat wraps. The give you complementary bread with humus and a tomato salsa type dip. We ordered lahmachun, mince pide, adana kebab and tszatsiki. The lahmachun was room temerature but still tasted good. The star was the mince pide, fresh out of the pide oven (this is similar to pizza crust from a wood fired oven), it had a lovely crust and meat was cooked just right. Very tasty!

The adana kebabs were bigger than what we expected (you can see in the picture). It came with bulgar, salad and flatbread. Best way to eat adana kebab is with the flatbread and mixing the hummus, tomato salsa and tszatziki all together. Do try the pepper that comes with it, its not...

November 2022 I visited this restaurant with my wife on our first night in Athens, delicious Halal food, that we both enjoyed, very reasonably priced too! We enjoyed it so much that we went back 2 nights later with one of our Greek friends for dinner. We all enjoyed the food, and the service is good too! June/ July 2022 I was back in this area again on a trip and visited this restaurant again, as I enjoyed the food my last time. I visited during the week and on Saturday and Sunday evenings! I have to say that I think they have improved the service they provide! The food was delicious and the portions seemed a little larger than before! Again I had a donner wrap and it was full of meat, onions, tomato and they even asked if I wanted some fries thrown in as well! I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you are in Athens.

The best kebabs and Turkish specials... First of all, I can say strongly that the restaurant has so clear atmosphere and clean environment. they cook everything right in front of your eyes, Especially another effective point of my perspective is all the tastes is serviced hot and on time.. There is cooking many kind of tastes from Turkish Kitchen, Service was perfect. Have seeing service friendliness, you feel like special guest in here. Let's come to the Prices. I am sure it will surprise you because, for this quality and these place opportunities and delicious of the tastes deserve more than that price. My opinion about price is moderate certainly. Feel free and you can exactly come here and eat whatever you want Also, appetizers are free. There's even Şalgam. I can say it is the cheapest restaurant in Athens, Great price and fast even during peak hours. Price + quality + generous portions + service = 10/10, Don't need to wait for it...
