I can only hope that the cook doesn't know what he is doing, because if he does, then what happened to us at dinner yesterday (12.5.2024) must be considered as fraud: I ordered what was advertised on the Menu as their signature dish "Pasta backed in paper with veal pieces and Funghi Porcini". When I had to tell the waiter that there was no trace of Funghi Porcini in my dish, he first claimed that what turned out to be the veal pieces were the funghi. When the evidence made clear that meat is not mushroom, he declared after having consulted the kitchen, that this dish was not supposed to have any Funghi Porcini. This claim was easily debunked by a look into the menu which featured the Funghi Porcini in large letters as main ingredience of the ordered dish. I was then offered obscure explanations without any excuse and then brought a small extra plate of champignon...Evidently the term of Funghi Porcini is an unknown quantity in the kitchen of this restaurant, as is customer service with...
Read moreI have visited this restaurant twice and have been very disappointed. A few months ago, I ordered a pasta and found pieces of garlic in the sauce. While Italians spoon garlic out and throw it away, before it browns and turns acrid, the chef didn’t bother to remove it. Earlier today, we ordered a Pizza Greca and two glasses of Prosecco. We asked for the pizza to be served sliced, but the waiter didn’t honor our request. For the Prosecco we were given two long straws and had to ask the waiter to cut them in half. The music was loud, and some of the clients were very noisy. The service was very slow. The waiters lacked experience and were somewhat edgy and distracted. It took several minutes until they came to take our order, bring water, and give us the check. The food was delicious, but very expensive for what it provided. The restaurant has the potential to be a little gem, but it doesn’t match the standards of the Athenian...
Read moreQuality Italian food, great service.
The restaurant is close to where we were staying and decided to give it a try. Nice experience.
I ordered a Margherita Pizza. The pizza was huge, enough for 2 people. The crust was crispy and very good, the sauce was light and not much taste, the cheese tasted fresh. Overall, decent Pizza.
My partner ordered the Pasta Alla Parmigiana, which was prepared table side. The dish looked amazing and tasted the same. Lots of cheese.
Our sister ordered the Ravioli Alla Fiorentina, ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese. She loved the dish.
Our niece ordered the Pasta with Salmon and enjoyed the dish.
If we were not leaving Athens, we would go back try...
