While in a business trip, made a reservation online for 9pm on a Friday night, was quiet at this time but when I arrived, oddly there was no no host at the entrance, though someone came fairly quickly. Ambiance seemed nice, fairly high end, on par for the neighborhood. I was hoping to try their menu special #2 which included several meats and cuts that I saw on another review, but it was no longer on their menu anymore. Then I decided to get something simple; their lamb chops for 35€ under Greek specialties and a glass of Sauvignon for 7€. Service seems to have taken a while and I think they saw me having to wait so they did give me a complimentary dish, that seemed to be composed of lamb and liver, forgot the name but decent 3/5. My lamb dish arrived a little while later and came with some toasted bread, as they didn’t have any veggies as a side. The lamb was cooked well and quite tender, however lacked seasoning and presentation was rather sad as you can see on the photo. As I finished my dish, the place got more crowded and it took a while to get my bill. Overall, nice ambiance, but food is lacking in flavour and presentation, though, that could have been my choice of dish. Service was ok, and I am grateful for the complimentary dish so 3/5 instead of 2/5, but it was definitely not above average.

In my view, there are some inconsistencies between some behaviours and a restaurant class with an average spent well over 50€. To name a few, the maitre (I guess this is what he was) should not greet diners wearing his own daily clothes when the rest of the staff is in uniform, and on top of that, having his shirt thrown over his belt hanging freely as if strolling in a park. Another thing that struck me was the absence of a typical digital or even paper-based ordering system; the orders were recorded on a square yellow coloured Post-it (repeat, square yellow coloured Post-it)! The scene with the waiter struggling to write the orders on this small piece of yellow paper while holding it in the air, was not very complementary to the restaurant image. For the rest of the experience, the decor was excellent (as always), the rest of the staff was very polite and welcoming, but we could not fail to notice that past pleasantries such as a variety of salts and a welcoming treat to enjoy, while waiting for the order to arrive, are no longer offered. All in all, the value for money does not score well, making my next visit very unlikely to happen any time soon.....

Tucked away at the very end of a hidden alleyway, we discovered one of the best steak restaurants! It's located near a bakery called Paul. We ordered a tomahawk steak for two with fried potatoes, and everything was decadent and delicious! It was a Friday night, and we had no reservations. We were also concerned that we were dressed too casually for such a nice place. However, we were greeted right away and warmly welcomed. The highlight of our visit was the people. They were incredibly kind and friendly. Not only did they take the time to go over the menu and offer recommendations, but they also talked about nearby attractions like Meteora, Corinth, and Olympia. The interior was polished and grand but had a very homey feel. We walked from our hotel near the Parliament building, so I'm unsure about parking. However, I liked how it's relatively close to popular areas like Plaka and Syntagma Square. The restroom/WC is located downstairs and was very clean. If you’re looking for a high-quality steakhouse with fair prices, I highly recommend this place!

Unacceptable experience at this horrible restaurant. The waitress who took our order recommended for 3 people: 1.5kg tomahawk and 1kg picanha, claiming casually that this is the regular portion for 3 adults. (We also ordered a salad, beef tartare, chips and mash) We challenged her multiple times if these portions were right, as we are steak lovers and we have visited very well renowned placed across the world for steak but we’ve NEVER heard these portions before, and by the end of it we felt as if we were the stupid ones asking due to the reassurance she has provided. Furthermore, we ordered the steaks medium rare however the picanha was well done to very well done which I consider completely unacceptable given that you would expect that a well renowned place would know how to cook the steaks. We have of course raised this directly with her when the food arrived once again challenging her if all these were the regular portions for 3 people and she insisted that this is the regular portion she serves her customers. I will not comment further as anyone could argue that 2.5kg steak for 3 people is indeed a lot of food. By the end of it we still paid 175€ (they just removed the picanha). The waitress never apologised and the owner did not come straight to our table for discussion although we kindly asked 2 waiters (including the waitress) and the floor manager. I consider the whole experience completely unacceptable and 100% will not recommend this place for the quality of food they provided but also for the rudeness of the waitress, highlighting the incompetence of an owner to manage such situations. We will also consider raising this via...

In my search for a restaurant with grill steak options, I came across "Telemaxos" and was impressed by the photos and reviews. When we arrived, we checked out the menu and decided to order a Taliatelle and a ribeye steak. The grilling was perfect, and the flavors of the dishes were exceptional.

However, there are a few negatives that need to be mentioned. One downside is that they don't serve soft drinks, and the only option available is wine. This could be problematic for those who don't prefer wine and would like to pair their meal with something different.

Furthermore, I found the price to be quite high considering the quality and quantity of the food offered. It might have been slightly overpriced for what was presented to us.

The service could also use improvement. Our waiter was borderline polite, but we would have preferred a more courteous and attentive approach from the staff.

Overall, despite these drawbacks, I had a pleasant experience at "Telemaxos" restaurant. The taste of the food was outstanding, and the grill steak options were satisfying. If they improve the service and expand their beverage choices, it could be an excellent place to enjoy a delicious moment with...
