Malvazia — Restaurant in Athens

A restaurant that will blow you away from the moment you walk up to the door…

Malvasia is a real gem, tucked away in an up and coming neighborhood. I’m so glad we were staying nearby and took the time to visit, it impressed us with its charm, warm welcoming staff, and then exceeded our expectations on the plate.

We had beef carpaccio and a Greek salad for starters, both were very good, fresh and tasty. Mains were chicken fillet and pulled lamb. Both were tender, juicy, and delicious. Even the bread and olive jam were top notch.

Not sure how it happened that I forgot to leave a review this place deserves, but I will correct that injustice now. It's one of the special restaurants in Athens that offers perfectly balanced blend of class and coziness. The atmosphere is vibrant and amazing, the service polite and professional, and the menu offers a creative take on famous Greek gastronomy. It's been a while since my last visit so I am not sure if they still have a program during dinner with opera-level voices singing thoughtfully curated numbers. Hopefully they do; I'll visit again soon to check it out :)
