Probably our favorite traditional Greek meal during our trip. And that is saying a lot because we went to some magnificent restaurants. What a magnificent view! After touring the Delphi Museum and archaeological site, this was a perfect way to rest a bit before driving back to Athens. Service was perfect. Attentive and helpful with food and drink suggestions without being pushy and not at all pretentious. The food was truly incredible as you can see from the photos. They only use fresh seasonal ingredients. So in the fall and winter months, order the stuffed cabbage not the dolmas because vine leaves are out of season. Their olive tapenade and "Grandma's recipe" artichoke hearts and stuffed cabbage leaves were the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed slow cooked goat with wild greens. To finish off the meal, they gave us complementary baklava. Of course we drank ouzo while looking out over the village of Delphi, the olive tree's in the valley and the Gulf of Corinth. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

I was not planning to eat out because I am vegan and was not feeling impressed with anything I was finding online but I am so glad I happened to walk by and see this restaurants extensive vegan options. And learned that they source their food locally, plus they recycle their consumables and oils. They also offered different plates from what I have been seeing all around Greece, most of which have been too oily for me. First off, they include a nice bread with a delicious olive tapenade at no extra charge. I LOVED the potato soup which had turmeric and oyster mushrooms. The spinach salad was absolutely picked recently and tasted fresh. They even had vegan baklava which was divine. And their wine menu was about as detailed as I have seen anywhere (I am clueless about wine so the details were awesome such as sweetness, acidity, body and fruit.) And the staff were attentive and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

8/31/21- I arrived the day before and was told they were booked. I made a reservation for 630 the next day when they opened. I showed up at 630pm, and they just looked at me like I was an alien. I told them about my reservation, and was shown a seat. I then waited 20 minutes before the server came back. It was only myself and one other person. The family was 3 meters away talking at their office table which is situated right in the middle of the restaurant. I was about to get up and leave when the server returned. The food arrived at a decent time. The Mousakka had decent flavor and good spice. The Greek salad was good but the feta was old. Their free baklava they give at the end of the meal was stale as well. The view is great, but so is every place in Delphi. If I go back, and I'm desperate, I'll give them another try, but not at 630 and only if the other restaurants are closed.

Staff was not friendly at all. No clue how they have such a high score. We tried on two different occasions to have either dinner or coffee, while the place was empty. "All seats are reserved" was the reply, but no one was present on both occasions. Even the empty terrace outside was not available to us, even if just for a coffee. The tavern down the stairs towards the water was much more accomidating and their friendliness actually made me happy to have been rejected by the rude staff of Vakhos. Looks a bit like a tourist trap for their view, which is also available at other places anyways. Picture added was from the tavern down the stairs, on a 2 minute walk away.

We dined here three times over the course of our week-long stay in Delphi. The service is impeccable, staff was attentive without being intrusive. The setting is magical, looking out over the Gulf of Corinth. Now, the food. We tried many things on the menu and nothing disappointed us. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, the cabbage rolls tasty, the pork steak huge and flavorful, the χωριάτικη salad fresh and flavorful. The complimentary baklava for dessert was delicious, not too sweet. The wine selection is large, reasonably priced, and clearly described in detail. Our only regret was not discovering this gem on the first day of our stay. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant in Delphi. We were amazed by the views, the food and wines and the hospitality and honesty of the staff. I never seen a menu cart that explains where they obtain the ingredients and the wines section explains each wine characteristics and also the possibility of try a glass of every wine instead of having to buy the whole bottle. We take a look to the kitchen and it's pretty clear that they gather natural food from local people and they are quite clean. We love the dessert to, very well made traditional desserts. The food was interesting and different from other places, I was very surprised with the ewe with pasta. Highly recommend.
