Do not eat here! While the views are stunning and the restaurant lovely, do not be fooled by the over enthusiastic waiters. Ilias Ilias was our waiter, and claimed to be the manager. After enticing us in with 'family friendly selection of food' we had a pleasant, if expensive, meal to be presented with a bill where the children's fish and chips was by far the most expensive thing on the bill. I asked why and this is when things really took a turn. Rude, aggressive and dismissive staff refused to even accept the situation was not 'family friendly' and that my 5 year old had been charged the full price for the fresh catch of the day, even when we specifically asked, and confirmed it was for a childrens meal. I stated, when the situation was realised, that I would pay the full bill. All I wanted was that they admitted the situation should have been made clear. Several waiters backed up our waiter in an thoroughly unpleasant manner and not wanting to cause a scene with my family I simply paid in full and left saying what a shame no responsibility or acceptance had been taken on the restaurants part. We were very disappointed in the Galera restaurant, which we went to because it was popular. The chiefs they put at the door are very rude and officially put psychological pressure on you not to let you in. Somehow they managed to get us to a table after making us wait for 1 hour. Service quality, service and waiting time for food was quite long. We waited for nearly 1 hour for the food to arrive. It takes at least 20 minutes to order because there is no waiter coming to your table. Your orders are always incomplete and it takes at least 15 minutes to call the waiter again. Let's talk about the flavour of the food. Even if you go to any Greek cuisine restaurant in this region, we would eat food of the same quality.
