I have never encountered such a rude attitude anywhere in a restaurant, and especially in Greece. It all started when the waiter began to refuse to place our orders on separate bills. There were 15 of us and we just needed to distribute the orders into 4 checks, since there were 4 families. After persuasion, he agreed, but after that, every time we wanted to add a dish or drink, waiters with dissatisfied faces wrote it down and, due to inattention, still got it mixed up. At the end, the waiter came and said, without any explanation, that in order to pay, everyone must now get up from the table and go behind the bar counter. And this was said in a very harsh form. After I asked to explain why I had to get up to pay and why they were so harsh with us, instead of explaining, the guy manager and a woman who introduced herself as the owner began to argue with me, saying that if you don’t like it, don’t come anymore, that they don’t care what we think about their service and similar phrases. In general, of course, this left a very unpleasant feeling for all of us and for me this restaurant has become a place that I no longer recommend, despite the fact that a year ago I was very pleased with everything and food is tasty here.
PS. Before submiting, I looked through the negative reviews of this restaurant, and almost all of them relate to the unfriendly attitude and rudeness of the waiters. I think the owners really need to think carefully...
Read moreNo way I was there with my family after few good rewies readed here. In my opinon this place is overstated. Fitst of all was no quantity specified on the menu. When I asked abot this the answer was :"big portion":))) We ordered mussels shrimps, octopus, souvlaki, tzatziki and White wine. The portions was small:The octopus was just a "leg"!!!!!. Souvlaki was some kind of mini souvlaki (-never saw în my live this minimum size). 15 mussels, not more. Maximum 3 spoons of tzatziki-4 euros!!!. We pay 59 euros for all and it was like a starter. Above all, at the end we must wait 35 minutes to receive the bill. Another thing. They put the wine on the table and they gone. I"m not king of England, but at the tables with greeks costumers the waitress put the wine on the glasses. If they have a roule, then must to be the same for all costumers. They make discrimination between greek costumers and foreign costumers. În conclusion:NEVER GO BACK AGAIN TO "To Kyma Small portions, big prices, discrimination,...
Read moreThe appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but overall I wouldn't really come again.
Firstly, the service was rushed. The food was all brought out at once, starters and mains together, as if the restaurant wanted to get rid of us quick.
Secondly, the food was sub-par at best. Dips were tasteless, and the breaded feta wasn't of good quality. The halloumi was not grilled enough either. We brought a seafood platter for a main course, king prawns were ok, fried anchovies were bland (which is especially strange considering it is a salty fish by nature), grilled sardines were ok. The grilled squid and fried calamari was ok, nothing special.
The dessert was given on the house, and was the best part of the dinner. I get that one generally feels like all goes wrong with the first wrong sign, but the food, at least coming from a fellow Mediterranean, was pretty average. I...
