Ananiadis — Restaurant in Kavala Municipality

I had the luck to be introduced to Ananiadis restaurant and deli via friends who know what's best in Kavala – bless them!

We had a superb dinner on the quaint cobblestone street, and it was pleasantly hard to choose from the menu's variety, as everything looked so good.

I appreciated that all ingredients were top-notch, and some choices highlight traditional Greek dishes while other show a deep understanding of global trends.

Towards the end of the meal, I explored the deli section and snatched a cornucopia of treats, from iconic Italian pasta brands to high-quality chocolate, and of course, some of their own sausages that the Ananiadis family has been making since the 1940s.

If I could I’d leave a 7 star! If you are tired of Greek tavernas and want to really enjoy food - then come here!

Fresh products, delicious mix of flavors, great service and elegant vibe and really clean! Towels in the bathrooms! High-end service! Gourmet food yet well-priced! We ordered the cheese, pecan, fig salad and I absolutely loved each bite of it. We tried the stuffed zucchini flowers - very different but great to try! The anchovies were to die for! Quinoa salad was excellent and the traditional kebab was to another level! Everything was really really good! We paid €70 (included drinks)

I don’t know how often I was there with how many different people but all of them were speechless. When it comes to taste it is maybe the best restaurant you can find in Kavala and area.
