We arrived in Georgio's Pizzeria after driving for what seemed to be an eternity. The winding, twisting roads of mountainous Lefkada had taken it out of us, but nonetheless we arrived and could finally kick back and relax. Thankfully, a shortage of food to eat at Georgio's would clearly not be an issue with the Medium Pizza comfortably offering enough for two and the large for four. I recently ordered the Pizza Prosciuto from Georgio’s Pizzeria, and it was absolutely fantastic! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. The prosciutto was deliciously fresh and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the gooey mozzarella and the tangy tomato sauce. Every bite was a perfect blend of textures and flavors. Georgio's Pizzeria is probably the best in the island. Very delicious pizza, like Italian made ones. Very good service, nice friendly and happy. A good selection of pizzas. Large portions for the price you pay. It is just on the road, perhaps quiet during non busy season, but I assume crowdy in high season. Very clean toilets equipped with hand lotion sanitizer and paper towels....
