Gyro Gyro — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

A few nights ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Gyro Gyro with a group of friends, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the gyros and suvlaki meal we ordered. The portions were incredibly generous, leaving us all feeling satisfied and content. The gyros were perfectly cooked, boasting a tantalizing blend of flavors that transported our taste buds to the streets of Greece. Wanted to order a Chicken schnitzel first, the blonde lady said “finished” when We asked her what do you mean “finished” she just reply “finished” again. Make it clear either you run out or you don’t make anymore. However we asked 2 more minutes to check the menu again. We decided to order Chicken Burger, when she came to the table again she said “ ohhh no, no Burger” eat Gyros only. Then we just asked her to give a bill from the 2 drink we had ordered before food and we will go. She went to her boss, and when she came back to the table she said there is Chicken Scnitzel , they had sent someone to buy chicken at 10:30pm. If you don’t want customers to order anything else other then Gyros then you shouldn’t put on the menu at ALL! She was a bit loud as well. Very bad experience! On the first day we came for the holiday i was imagine also to try Gyros from here later before we travel back. But i don’t even want to go close to this...

Unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. One person from our group was completely ignored by the waiter — we even had to bring her a chair ourselves.

The glasses were placed in front of one person, who had to hand them out. Despite the place not being crowded, the service was inattentive. The food was dry, and we even found a hair at the bottom of one of the gyros.

When we asked to take the leftovers, he just tossed three containers on the table and told us to pack it ourselves. He asked about our nationality, and his attitude clearly changed afterwards.

Also, when we ordered tzatziki, it wasn’t mentioned that it was already included with the gyros plates (not even written on the menu).

We spent nearly €100, which made the poor service and attitude even more frustrating. As we were settling the bill, he pointed out that the tip wasn’t included — but with such behavior, leaving one didn’t...
